I tend to overdraw my irons. Ironically it’s the ones that feel the best and go the furthest but easily 30 yards or more left of the green

Its always a good day to wake up and have a new video from Piers and Andy. I've started doing the first part of the take away as part of my pre shot routine. I found your iPad drill the other day and that completely change my swing. I didn't realize I cupped my wrist until I saw that drill. In about a month I've gone from having no idea why I slice everything to hitting darts with my driver and 3iron. Now I know what to check for if I do slice a ball. I step away from the ball and check everything and now knowing its about the face at impact I can usually tell what I have done wrong. Golf has become a medicine for me during a really tough time and you guys are helping me enjoy it. Thanks for your content and the way you teach the fundamentals.

Great lesson here! I'd love a lesson to prevent casting. Whenever I get to the top, as I come back down to left arm parallel and below, I seem to always lose the lag. I've never really understood how to keep the lag without holding on to it as it feels artificial and usually leaves my clubface open. I have a more shallow swing, sometimes too much in to out so I tend to scoop in order to compensate, so a video on casting would be great!

I envy people that can learn to swing from youtube. Took me many lessons with a pga professional using both swing catalyst and trackman to get a good one. I still have lessons once a week to improve on details!

just went over my field at the back of my house and tried it, liked it instantly . With all the information online i think where the club face is on the takeaway seems a little more overlooked. Love how you guys give us the correct information we need to hit better shots, should i be using this drill with driver and fairway woods?

I had a tendency to lead with my upper body (shoulders). But I watched a video about the hands “winning the race to the ball” ahead of the right shoulder. So today, I tried SLINGING the club … tried to allow my hands to win the race to the ball before your right shoulder. I thought it would feel weak, but I hit some powerful shots. I believe it allowed me to shallow the club on the downswing too. But, I really have to focus on slowing the right shoulder down until AFTER impact. Your thoughts? 🤔 I think I tended to restrict my hands & wrists in an attempt to control the clubface. But found I had it “let it go” (trust it) and SLING it Great stuff as always 👍🏻 Keep up the good work

Great drill 👏David Ledbetter uses this drill a lot for his pros and JT always checks his clubface before every shot

Hi great video but i can’t really grasp how to move the club in the backswing. Should it feel like an arm motion or should it feel like a body motion where arms follows freely?
@meandmygolf.8 ай бұрын
From our experience most amateurs are a little too much "arm lead". Allow the body to lead a little more.

Spent $100 for a golf lesson and this is basically what I went over. Yes it did straighten my fade, actually pull hooking a bit now, but wanted to say this vid is worth $100 for all the viewers.

Tried a version of this today, came back rewatched and realized I was cupping right wrist on takeaway too much. There is always tomorrow, Rome wasn’t built in a day.
