Garth Brooks is one of the most popular artists in the world, as you could tell from the concert footage. He had a concert in Central Park, New York several years ago and he was scared that nobody would show up- he had over 1,000,000 people there for the outdoor concert!
@popcorngoddess893 жыл бұрын
Oh yeah, he was well known for popping out of the stage like a jack in the box as his entrance, and flying above the crowd in a harness, and having pyrotechnics spew a line of fire across the stage that he would calmly walk through. He'd sprint from one end of the stage at full speed while singing at the same time, sometimes while playing a guitar. I saw a brief glimpse of his standing at the edge of the stage so all the ladies in the pit could touch his shins in this video. I don't know why, cause I was too young to have done it myself, but that just sent me into a wave of nostalgia. Garth was a true rock star.

A Garth Brooks concert is a balls to the wall, full throttle, hell raising, no holds barred, good time. He gives 130% and the audience gives it back. It's a religious experience.

Garth Brooks was one of the first to start filming his concerts himself because back then cell phones were not known as anything but a phone to have on you in case of an emergency. I myself being 10 years old in 94 had no idea what a cell phone was only the rich had them LOL. But you're right this is a montage of all of his concerts that year when he played this song.

I've seen him 3 times live and still, 25+ years after this video, (good luck getting tickets since his concerts still sell out in minutes) his concerts are SO high energy! He isn't quite as reckless as he used to be, but more energy than most 20 year old entertainers. He used to fly out over the audience, climbed everything, ran around like a crazy man. The atmosphere is ELECTRIC when he's in the building. One of my all time favorites for decades! I have everything he ever recorded... in multiple formats from cassette tapes to CDs to digital! Lol

You have got to react to "Friends In Low Places" and it has to be a live concert video. Garth is about as high energy as it gets. He borrowed the attitude for this from his hero and former World Champion Bronc rider Chris Le Doux you should check him out as well. The 70's Rock Show moved to Country in the 90's. A lot of old timers in country music were worried until Garth came and also Vince Gill who's roots were deep in old Country music. The blonde lady in the band is Garth's sister. They played together for years and then had a huge falling out. Garth's concerts were and are legendary. He includes everybody kids, teens, 20's etc.. Old folk are honored Garth is very family oriented. Though he and his second wife the Country singer Trisha Yearwood they have Garth's three daughters, who are grown and a couple of them are quite good musicians and singers. I'm sure they have full concert videos from Garth on youtube. You really should check him out. Thanks for an awesome reaction.

Sux that Garth pulls his music from KZbin but his music is amazing! My rockin’ favorites from Garth are That Summer; Standing Outside the Fire; Ain’t Goin’ Down (‘Til the Sun Comes Up); Callin’ Baton Rouge; Rodeo; and Two of a Kind, Workin’ on a Full House. My emotional favorites of his are If Tomorrow Never Comes; Unanswered Prayers; Wolves; What She’s Doing Now; The River; Learning to Live Again; That Ol’ Wind; Somewhere Other Than The Night; Much Too Young (To Feel This Damn Old); The Dance; She’s Every Woman; and In Lonesome Dove. But his most powerful songs are Mom; The Thunder Rolls; The Night I Called The Old Man Out; We Shall Be Free; and The Change.

George Jones, Alan Jackson, Kenny Rogers, George Strait, Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, Reba McEntyre, and so many others. Also, all of them are great storytellers too. Some will make you cry and others will make you laugh. Dolly Parton's I Will Always Love You, Kenny Rogers' Coward of the County, Alan Jackson's Where were you, when the world stopped turning, Loretta Lynn's The Pill, George Strait's The Chair, George Jones' He Stopped Loving Her Today.
