Recoil tests showed that for Elsies the best recoil to keep it vertical is to hit 83 which can only be done with Chambered Compensator or Extended Barrel. Otherwise it tends to lean a bit to the right I think. So for anyone that's a recoil-whore like I aim and needs consistency throughout the mag, 83 is what you want to hit.

I compared a ton of Elsie Rifles with different recoil directions and 88, 83 and 100 recoil direction are all good and give you quite similar results. All of them are generally quite easy to control and relatively vertical but sometimes all of them randomly once in a while give you a an ugly burst mainly to the left

Keep going for 100 recoil. It’s night and day better than my other rolls with 83. Same exact recoil every time. I got arrowhead, ricochet, zen moment, headseeker, with range masterwork. The true 5/5. Feels like a laser.

Im surprised you haven’t been using this more, I got a 5/5 and swear by it now, its a straight up beam that does not move at all, that and being able to use it with Conditional AND enhance it gives it bonus points for me. Absolutely amazing gun one of the best pvp guns for sure 💯

I tried to enhance my brave hammerhead and it glitched and it’s stopped the perks at the second upgrade even though I have it on the third and finale. Has anyone else had this problem? Any idea how to fix it would be greatly appreciated

I use an under-over/kill-clip roll in 6's. Under-over is so underrated imo. With all the overshields, it seems to win more fights for me, especially when im fighting multiple Guardians at once.

I don’t know what it is, but I feel the same way about Phyllotactic, regardless of the stats and the perks, both of those guns just feel bouncy and shitty to me, and if I swap to Messenger or Stars in Shadow, suddenly I hit my 2 bursts, when I can’t with Elsie’s or Phyllotactic, even with god rolls of both.

Zen+Headseeker is such a roided up combo that I get why they stopped putting it on 340s in the Kinetic slot after Cold Denial. Which low and behold I got a 5/5 turning in strange coins to Xur for the bonus drops of spending 41 coins.

This weapon is probably the best pvp weapon in the game. It's a Messenger on steroids. It can get enhanced perks. It can be paired with one of the best SMGs in the game. It can be paired with fucking Khvostov. It can be paired with probably the best shotgun in the game. It can 2-burst you if you're not careful. That weapon is too good, too good.
