Hello Pete. Listening as you “carry on” and yes I heard the CR word. More options to dip into just in case weather something happens or not. I saw -20f at that time. Take CaRe

If you travel a lot, I guess thats what get home bags are ACTUALLY for, but the HUGE issue is, planes, and events/ you DEFINITELY want to have your own vehicle/I would avoid planes, and events/anywhere that doesn't allow you to bring your EDC in; UNLESS you can afford to handle those situations properly, when it comes to planes, either pay to get first class, or pay to get a private plane, try and get your supplies, on board, with you/beside you/not away from you; Also when it comes to events, sometimes if you get VIP, or some other type of reserved area, security is USUALLY a little more lenient, so thats an option, and this is what I USUALLY TRY to do, but if they can't accommodate you, its not worth the hassle/risk; Another option, for plane travel, could be if say you wanted to go on a trip to Japan, you could have the EDC you can get away with, on you, then have a contact, in Japan, have items shipped to your hotel, have cameras pre-installed there/inside your hotel room, that you can accsess, to see that your items/supplies had arrived, and so you can monitor them, and then once all of that is done, get on a plane, and get to your hotel, and then once you get there, reconfigure your security cameras, and then once your getting ready to leave, have all your items shipped back to your main house, or which ever house your going to next, my houses in other states, are fully stocked, and I have cameras on the properties, and in the houses, so thats not a problem, but when you go out of the country, or instances/situations, where a hotel, is involved, this is the best approach; This would kind of work/you MIGHT be SOMEWHAT naked, metaphorically speaking, at times, but its safer, than not having anything, for the entirety of the trip; Also I would recommend the supplies you use during travel, that you ship, be separate, from your home/home*s* supplies, and your vehicle/vehicle*s* supplies/these supplies should be DEDICATED to plane/hotel travel, and if you can't afford to do all of this, I would say, you can't afford to travel, but everyone can make their own decisions about their life, but even when the shortages we're going on/occuring, I didn't notice any difference/my vacation houses, and my main houses, we're ALREADY stocked/I didn't have to worry about not having what I needed; But the ONLY way to BASICALLY, be fine, INDEFINITELY, is to, at your primary home/house, get security/gates/fences/self defense, under control, and then to have a safe room/bunker/ proper place, under ground, to protect your self and the ones around you; Also solar power/batteries, indoor grow lights, are ALL important, and in the mean time, take the extra step/steps, to learn gardening and handling/processing/taking care of live stock, your ultimate goal is homesteading/this is the ONLY way to not rely on the government/utility companies/stores that ship things in/ the only way all of this is feasible/obtainable/possible, is to be able to protect your self, your property, and to home stead/ to be self sustainable, I would ALSO learn how to fix/maintain, anything and everything you need to as well, and have back up parts, obviously you don't start here, but this is the goal/the next step, after all of this, and there will be things you want, like new electronics, new gear/knives, new cars/vehicles/new something, that may release, and there may even be things you need, and thats fine, but if things we're to shut down, you would be able to sustain yourself, indefinitely, is the primary goal, I'm not saying don't use stores/get what you want, I'm just saying, you don't want to have to rely on them, so if you don't want to have to do all this, and you have the money, your best bet, is to have people hired/on retainer, have separate housing on your property, thats also gated/fenced in, and get them to handle your gardens/repairing and maintaining things, but you should still learn how to do all of these things, obviously we MAY not have time to do all of this stuff, but we can at the least take the time, to learn how to do all of these things, so if we need to, at some point, you can, but if you have workers, you need to prep for them too/they may even keep working for you through the situation, and their family/families can also be there/if these things are in place, you can continue to live normally, even throughout disasters; Obviously everyone can't do all of this, but I think most people can get to some form of this/they can become a lot more self sustainable.

Self sustainability is the best idea, but many folks travelling for work, emergencies etc. Good info thanks for sharing.

@@TheRoamingPrepper I just wanted to reach out and say, I wasn't trying to be mean/offensive, I get the point of the video though/its HARD to be COMPLETELY prepared when TSA/Airports/Events are involved, but you can strive to be as prepared, as you can be, in the situations/locations, that life put you in; Also I get that everyone has different budgets and priorities, MOST of what I posted, was just good general information, meant to be interpreted and used, in what ever way someone MAY need the info. I also get that, this was the first time, I watched one of your vids, and you don't know me, and you have never seen me in the comments, and I don't usually post links EVER, BUT when I looked for that specific carabinier, there was like 4 to 5 plus different options, from the same brand, I knew I had a good experience with that specific lock, and some of the others, that I have purchased, from that exact brand, in the past, have given me problems/I ended up having to use pliers once, to undo the lock, but I haven't had any problems with those. Also I am not affiliated with that company/I am just a viewer, sharing my experiences. I won't post any more links, I just didn't want someone to buy the wrong version, of something I mentioned/I didn't want someone to have a bad experience with something I mentioned. Also MAYBE I was a little harsh with the flashlight comment, especially since it was the first time I watched one of your vids, and commented, it was more of a joke, than anything else, but I do now see you also have A LOT of other flashlights as well. I also saw the live stream and enjoyed it/I thought you going through your junk drawer was funny, and the comments people had during the video we're entertaining/fun/it seems like you have built a good community here, is all I'm saying. Anyway no hard feelings either way.
