The last time he performed at an award show was 2017 (BET Awards) and he was meant to do a spectacular MJ tribute at the AMAs in 2022 which was cancelled last minute because of fear of backlash. Also Jay-Z picks who does the Super Bowl which means Chris doesn’t stand a chance. So yeah Chris is very frustrated right now.
