Do yourself a big favor. While you're in Mississippi doing your barrel pick, pick up some fresh peanuts and roast them yourself. It's simple to do and you'll never be taunted by restaurant peanuts again. Before the peanuts cool and harden, you'll be fighting to get as many of them in your mouth as you can! Guaranteed! I would wonder if true vegans can indulge in whiskey? Many crops are dusted with things like bone or blood meal. Currently no vegan certification that I know of for spirits.
