If elected, Trump will destroy NATO and feed Europe to Putin. And it won't mean that you'll be safe as the US. Once he has Europe, he will join China and start a war with you, Trump or no Trump. We implore you - don't let that happen!

We can't even fathom what would Trump's second term mean for America, Europe and the world.. This time there would be no grown ups holding his hand and making him busy so long as to forget what he ordered (removing of troops from S Korea for example)... This time the administration would be filled with Boberts, Traitor-Greens and the likes.... Vote people, vote Biden, this is our only chance.. I am an optimist cause Biden made the economy boom like it hasn't boomed in the last 20 years.. This is almost a guarantee he will win the 2nd term...

True! Also, a significant portion of citizens & politicians in those countries remember how horrible it was to be part of the Soviet Union (..Putin is as brutal & cold-blooded as Stalin was..). So, everyone in 'the West' need to take the concerns expressed by Poland, the Baltic States, Finland,, etc VERY seriously!

Poland knows whereof it speaks. It became an independent nation again after World War I after centuries of Russian oppression. Within a few years, the Bolshevik regime tried to conquer Poland. The Poles repulsed them. History is repeating itself today in Ukraine, and let us hope the result is the same.

They want to take over the Russia government in order to exploit resources and weaken China. The corrupt elites want to control the world. Most Americans just want our leaders to focus on the country and states we live in. Instead globalization is destroying the domestic structure because of negligence. Let me say if America succeeds the people in Russia will be treated just as bad as any other nation whose government we have toppled. Most countries who governments we have toppled through elections or war have become worse then they were before. The American Oligarchy will never allow a country to become better than them.

Humanity, solidarity, support for our allies do not count to Johnson, who takes his orders from Trump. Funny, but I clearly remember Trump in the White House being desperate for the Nobel Peace Prize (because Obama had been awarded it). He is now showing how unworthy he is of such an honour.

I just don't understand why Americans don't learn or have enough intellectual curiousity to seek out information about this -- and why some (like those in the republican/conservative parties) don't understand how putin's aggression is pretty much like hitler's aggression in the 30s and 40s....

America first for Russia (sorry, the dictatorship government of Russia) means to not interfere in anything. Maybe they even told the nit smart Trump it is America first, but the aim of Russia is to get an empire bigger than the Soviet Union. Read about Akexandre Dugin, the Russian philosopher, it is all about get an empire, until Trump presidency his main call was to destroy the American empire, but with cuddling Trump he said, America just has to stay isolated and not interfere. In the end Dugin is for war forever and never ending. They will with a taken over Europe be a better threat for America. As Cheney said, they found some useful idiots to harm their own country.

The aid is not pallets of cash. It’s in the form of military equipment, assigned a value, that is donated,”. “That equipment is usually older and would be replaced in the next few years anyway, at a cost. I’m sure she doesn’t understand this.” Still, the largest bucket of overall U.S. aid committed to Ukraine - more than $46 billion, is military support in the form of equipment not cash !! The military equipment has been pulled directly from existing U.S. military SURPLUS inventory and other parts of the funding has also been used to purchase new weapons from US industrial complex industry and american manufacturers; this supports local American communities in states (over 33 states ) that produce weapon's (so the money doesn't go into the pockets of Zelensky and fiends thats a myth pumped out by Russian propaganda and regurgitated by "pathetic tools" of the kremlin like Tucker Carlsen ) Members of Congress have questioned how closely the U.S. is tracking its aid to Ukraine to ensure that it is not subject to fraud or ending up in the wrong hands. The Pentagon’s inspector general told lawmakers at a hearing, that his office has found no evidence of such corruption or wrongdoing, but cautioned that investigations are only in their early stages. Despite claims to the contrary, the United States is not sending bags of unaccounted-for cash to Ukraine. Most US contributions go to military aid, including weapons and equipment made by American defense contractors who employ communities across the country. When the United States spends money to purchase military equipment as part of an international aid package, the materiel may go overseas, but the money and jobs stay in America. Similarly, appropriations for the US Foreign Military Financing program provide incentives for NATO allies and partners to secure US-made capabilities. This translates to more business for US companies and sustained employment for rural communities in which they operate. For instance, Lockheed Martin, maker of the HIMARS-which has been central to Ukraine’s counteroffensive-plans to increase its Camden, Arkansas facility’s workforce by 20%, and recently announced increased profit projections through the end of the year. Similarly, General Dynamics has committed to building new production facilities in Mesquite, Texas, bringing money and jobs to the region. Change like this takes place only when the Pentagon sends strong and stable market signals to the defense industry, giving it the confidence to expand and hire. In short, the numbers suggest that continued support for Ukraine is a win-win for Ukrainians and the American people. The United States can continue to defend stability and democratic governance across the globe, while at the same time boosting American industrial output and advancing US economic interests.

Schulz and the German Bundestag are painfully indecisive and hesitant. To be fair, that's typical post WWII behaviour; being involved in any sort of military action, even from the sidelines, still feels very icky to Germans. At least, Germany has taken in as many Ukrainians as Poland has. However, Germany has more than double the population than Poland, so in relative numbers they only took in half the amount. Oc., Germany doesn't share a direct border with Ukraine and was still working through the integration of the more than one million Syrian and Afghan refugees that came there 2015-2017 when the first wave of Ukrainian refugees came (while Poland, then under an ultra conservative administration, refused to take in refugees in 2015).

can someone in US-Congress please remember basic algebra?: US so far invested military aid for Ukraine worth $47bn, 90% of which spent domestically, mainly for good union jobs. POLAND, though, in the course of the war, signed procurement contracts with US defense industries among many others for $10bn for HiMARS, $4bn for M1 Abrams, and will receive F35s worth $5bn from this year on. So Polands investment IN US resulting in good paying jobs in the wake of the war is about half of USs expenses for replenishments of weaponry given to Ukraine. Who does here have to beg whom for what? Bring that maths up ambassador, Tusk, Duda!

Do you seriously think that the geopolitical situation can be described with basic algebra? There are dozens of interrelated things from which losses and profits can be calculated by specialists, people with a broad horizon. One of dozens of possible examples. Do you think that if Russia gains a dominant position in Europe, it will not limit all US interests in Europe to its advantage? After all, this is Russia's main goal. Reduce the US position and increase Russian one, worldwide. In the longer term, the losses for the US, due to various aspects that are generally not talked about, will be so large that the $47 billion is pennies... PS. US military aid is 90% - true. But compare expenses to budgets. Who is more generous: a person with $1,000,000 giving $1,000 or a person with $1,000 and giving $500?

I am a dual citizen of both Poland and the USA living in the USA. I've lived most of my life in the USA, and I vote in USA elections. In 2016, I read several news articles arguing that support from Polish-American voters was a critical component for Donald Trump to win Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin in the 2016 Presidential election. I have never voted for a Republican, but I know several Polish-Americans who voted for Trump in 2016. Today, any Polish-Americans who still have family or other ties in Poland would be insane to vote for any Republicans. Trump has threatened to not honor NATO Article 5. Poland borders the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad, and Russian TV commentators have made multiple statements over the years threatening to occupy the territory between Belarus and Kaliningrad, which would mean that they would either have to invade Poland or Lithuania or both. If the USA stops providing Ukraine with ammunition -- especially artillery shells and GMLRS rockets for HIMARS -- it is possible that Russia's army could eventually occupy Kyiv and overthrow the government of Ukraine. At that point, Russia would continue to rebuild its military, and the next target could be to occupy the Suwalki gap between Belarus and Kaliningrad. Or Russia might choose to start with some sort of hybrid military operation led by "disaffected Russian nationals" living in Latvia, Estonia or Lithuania. In either case, such an operation could very easily escalate into a war between NATO and Russia. Trump has explicitly said that he would not definitely defend NATO countries from an attack by Russia. I want to point out that when the USA was attacked on 9/11/2001, every single NATO member state sent troops into Afghanistan when the USA invoked Article 5. Poland and other NATO countries came to the aid of the USA military when the USA asked them to. Even Ukraine, which was not even a NATO country, sent troops to help the USA fight in Afghanistan. With this in mind, today Republicans openly say that they may not support NATO. It's not even just Trump. Other Republicans have made similar statements. As Biden said yesterday, Poland actually spends a HIGHER PERCENTAGE OF ITS GDP on defense than the USA does, and Poland buys American weapons systems. If Trump wins the presidency in 2024 or even if Republicans retain control of any part of Congress and continue to block USA military aid to Ukraine, it is very likely that all of Europe will choose to stop buying USA weapons systems. F35 purchases will drop. Europeans will buy Rafales from France and Gripens from Sweden. Other countries around the world will also worry that they cannot trust the USA, and some will choose to switch to European weapons systems rather than buying USA weapons. This will significantly hurt America's military industry and its economy. Countries around the world would additionally feel less compelled to give American companies favorable trade deals or investment opportunities around the world. So, again, I think any Polish-American or any other European-American with any family or other ties in Europe would be absolutely foolish to vote Republican in 2024, and, in general, every American should understand that our prosperity in the USA depends on USA corporations having access to trade and investment around the world that could come under threat from Republican threats to not honor treaties or help allies.

This is the proof that good policies and choosing carefully our allies, eventually comes back in kind. Thank you Biden for all your dedication to your country. And thank you Poland for being steadfast against Russia's ambitions for conquest. I am not American, but I have trust in the system, even with all its flaws, that good will prevail. This is what this is all about. We have to put politics aside and work together to face evil. This gives me hope.

We must stand together. The whole point of the United Nations is to prevent the earlier half of the 20th century from repeating itself. Let Poland's bravery serve as an example to the Republican party.

Unfortunately, "Never again" is something the West cannot be trusted to act upon, especially once the generation that made the "promise" is no longer with us. Memories are very short, and an appreciation and understanding of history, especially amongst our political "leaders".

General Wesley Clark was in Munich where he was asked what Ukraine will need to win. He replied, "Soldiers, better training, good leadership, long range missiles, a few squadrons of modern fighter jets". Would have been easier to say they need a military.

Every politician has the power that is given to him. Trump has such a power, because the Republican Party is giving it to him, will say, the Republicans do what Trump wants, even if it is illegal and inhuman. The Reps ARE TO BLAME for this situation!! Trump "only" goes as far as they let him go. VOTE BLUE!!
