Would be feasible if you’d only need the armour to be 10% Beskar, but if it has to be 50%+ to be immune to blaster fire, then it wouldn’t be feasible I guess.

I can only imagine what he's capable of now! He made an AT-DP pilot shoot his peers and commit suicide. That skill is super rare (edit: espicially for someone that young). He resisted the emperor, held his own against Vader and defeated the Grand Inquisitor - all of this with little training. I can only imagine what he's capable of now. I think he's embraced that there's no light or dark but that the Force is multi-faceted. Also, I don't think him wearing red is a coincidence! I believe he's still connected to Maul in the force which makes me think he somehow has learned Night Sister magic, or at least has come close to something like it. He's crazy powerful!

umm no that’s a type of armor called lamellar, it’s made of small rectangular plates of metal laced into horizontal rows. It was used by a variety of cultures throughout history, in particular the nomadic turks and mongols. And given the fact Ezra is living with a nomadic community i think it has more to do with that. also stormtroopers didn’t use dog tags, they had a chip in their armor that was used to identify who they were

The average Imperial-1 Star Destroyer has a crew complement of around 38,000 people, about 10,000 alone being Stormtroopers intended for ground assault. To make a vest of chainmail that large with dog tags of those size, I don't think you'd need more than 200, at absolute most. While I'm sure the Chimera didn't have a full crew complement when it was pulled into hyperspace at the end of Rebels, I'd still put money on there being at least 5,000 Stormtroopers on board. Plenty to remove while leaving the battle hardened Night Troopers we see without them necessarily being magically reanimated corpses. I feel like everyone's grabbing on to the zombie angle, when I feel like the more interesting angle would be these leftover stormtroopers having just developed a cult-like loyalty to Thrawn over their stay. I feel like them being corpses leaves Thrawn too reliant on the Night Mothers, and leaves him open to betrayal if his personal forces are all undead zombies able to be turned against him. Doesn't feel like a choice he would make unless as a last result.

Poker playing-card sized bits plates have holes around the edge and are laced together with other plates using leather cords to form a body armor. Technically, he's armor would be classified as lamellar not chainmail. Since it's made from small individual plates instead of rings.

Actually it’s not chain mail it’s a different type of armor called lamellar armor which is small plates of metal sewn together which makes it somewhat flexible for the wearer

I wonder if Ezra has a lightsaber, considering that he is stranded on that planet in a different galaxy without any ship I doubt that he could get a kyber crystal. Well who knows maybe he did manage to find a crystal and build a new lightsaber.

I think we're forgetting that fact that there are literal scavengers are fighting for survival on the planet by hunting whoever they see. Sabine even fights some. I'm guessing they're the main cause of the number dwindling.

thrawn might expect Sabine and Ezra to win against Baylan and Shin. He knows from first hand experience and from many reports that Ezra and Sabine are almost unstoppable when together, having bested him and fellow imperial leaders multiple times whereas he has no clue how strong Baylan and Shin are. This might be his way of assessing them by putting up against a threat he is very familiar with. Ezra and Sabine are kind of a control variable as he observes how powerful Baylan and Shin are, to figure out if they pose a threat to him or not.

I don't think Ezra wearing a red robe was a coincidence. He and Maul were, or rather still are, connected in the force and always will be, and therefore Ezra by that link also has a potential affinity to the Night Sisters' magic (or rather their way of using the force). This along with his incredibly strong connection with life force and nature and his stints with the dark side (if there even is one), makes him perhaps currently the most powerful Force user. He's dangerous and the Grand Admiral knows it and respects it. That's my theory anyway.

I think the stormtrooper dog tags were meant to show Ezra’s bloodlust, his hatred for empire, and above all his growing darkness within. Ezra became such a problem that Thrawn actually stopped trying to kill him because everyone who faced Ezra died.

I hope this is true. For Ezra to have survived this long, living relatively peacefully and safely, means he had to have messed those guys up. Also him acting like Sabine is still his "sister" after being stranded all these years is not gonna cut it. And, he should be damn pissed at her for undoing his sacrifice without a way back, and possibly betraying and killing Ahsoka.

I feel like this could be a sign that Ezra's little brush with the dark side could run a little deeper. It'll be interesting to see how Ahsoka would deal with that.
