Idk who this source is, but several issues are noticeable to me. He claims that frame rate is tied to cpu because of "rendering the city life on each street" but Mark Cerny himself said the GPU is adding 45% faster rendering. Sony themselves said rendering is tied to gpu, not cpu. Also, they just completely reworked gta5 a year or so ago to run 60fps currently on ps5, and gta5 has heavy traffic and pedestrians at times. I cant imagine gta6 being that much more taxing on the 5, especially with it being coded completely fresh with 10+ years of experience from coding 5. And anything 30fps hurts my eyes. The trailer for gta6 was definitely not 30fps, it was smooth for me to watch. I'm not gonna say I trust Sony, but I do trust them to know their own hardware has 45% faster rendering with a gpu change, which invalidates the claim the cpu cant handle 60fps. Especially when some games can hit 120fps currently on the 2020 ps5. There's a 120fps toggle for pvp modes in Destiny 2 on ps5 and pvp tends to be taxing with lots of abilities getting tracked all at once, plus tracking everyones bullets. So beyond a doubt they'll get 60fps with gta6, but probably if you're running just 1080 which is perfectly fine, and what most people have. The only concern of capping at 30fps this gen is for anything UHD resolution.

It’s possible that rockstar can make it run well on console, at playable frame rates but given their investment in other aspects of the game, I don’t see this being a real target. Also this console generation has to be one of the worst so far with the least amount of good games in volume compared to previous generations. Games are taking forever to make with modern features and it’s showing.

Who is afraid of the game frames on ps5 pro? Just remember that Rockstar has a secret recipe in making its games because the RDR2 game was running at 30fps on the PS4 Slim, even though this console was weak in front of RDR2. As for 30fps, I consider it very good if it is stable while several things are happening on the screen, which therefore pushes the PS5 Pro to the maximum.

what a lot of people dont realize is that the ps3 costed more than a ps5 pro would today accounting for inflation. Like in today's money a ps3 that could run gta 5 when it launched would've costed around $700-$800 USD today. The thing is though that the PS3 was a game changer. It was only console in that generation that launched with built in wifi, built in memory and a blue-ray player. Do we see any kind of game-changing features on the ps5 pro? Not really. Everything that it tries to sell can be done on a different device for around the same kind of money or less, and it supersedes those devices in terms of full feature set.

People will buy anything just to play in all these past two decades GTA has increasingly become a more popular and trendsetting game. GTA 4 was great game the online world wasn't really worth playing. GTA 5 ver my good game although in the first year or the the online wasn't that great. After 3 year's GTA online I've never played the story mode again. I typically always buy games and want to complete them 100% if I have the time and opportunity. I mean if you're gonna spend the money why not try and squeeze every cent out if it. People will complain but will get so hyped that they will play anything they can afford as long as they can afford it. I just hope it's going to be more of a combination of every 3D version of previous titles. Preferably with all the cities although that most likely will not happen. Instead of remastering the GTA vice city and the GTA San Andreas they could've better make an online update for those cities with adjustments and similar missions.❤
