For all the praise that is (rightly) heaped upon him, Dan does have what poker players call a "tell". In this song, it happens between the harmonica section and the fourth verse. He flips his hair off of his right shoulder (the viewers left). This action indicates that his voice is shifting into overdrive, "superhero mode" is engaged, and he is about to absolutely bring it... ...and he doesn't disappoint.

If you search him singing Elvis’s Love Me Tender because guys, he recorded it as A GIFT to a fan who reached out to him when her husband was terminally ill, she wanted Dan’s permission to use Dan’s cover version of Elvis’s song American Trilogy so his response was to record LMT especially for her and her husband!! So kind, so caring and also a great example of how to nurture a devoted fan base!!

I only stumbled on Dan Vasc about 5 days ago through another reaction channel, he’s over 1 million hits on YT in a month!! Apart from the insane vocal skills he has I find it INCREDIBLE that ENGLISH IS NOT his native tongue, he’s Brazilian!! Yet his diction is extraordinary, you hear every syllable crystal clear!! You gotta listen to O Holy Night by Dan Vasc and Victor the guitar Nerd! He just released it like two days before Christmas Eve and it’s phenomenal!!!! Loved the reaction! Dan is amazing and if you noticed him looking a little sad when he first starts on the harmonica, that is because his dad gifted him that harmonica when Dan was 6 years old. Unfortunately, Dans dad passed in 2017 due to cancer and amazing grace was his favorite hymn. Of course Dan had to do it and do it justice!
