I dont think he is expecting 5/5. Avg cost to get a random 5/5 is approx 2200 crests (4.5% of ?/5 multiply 1% for 5/5)= 2,222 crests

That's 51 total 5 stars, if he used 1k crests that means a 5 star every 20 crests which is like 2 from the big pack available in shop (7200 orbs). Think not the best, not the worst either considering he got a 4/5 Roiling and 5 BSJs but ideally if his market is rubbish like most, it's a below par run

I think this is a perfect example of why investing any further is pointless. The player probably akready has 5 star gems so there isnt a need for them but if someone spent that kind of money and didht even get more drops for dup upgrades, i feel bad for anyone trying to make it to 8k let alone 10k.

Good demo shows really how bad drops are on higher rank gems, one 4star roiling was highest.

Ive run over $15k+ worth of crests and ive only gotten 1 5\5* drop so far. Had to buy the rest of my 5\5* gems i currently have.

Your luck was kinda terrible. That's a pretty penny, to not achieve any 5/5. I've spent a fraction of that, and have luckily gotten 2 5/5 gems, a few 4/5, and 3/5.
