As a Rocket season ticket holder, I’ve been saying this for months: This kid is special. He’s a good goalie for sure, but he has a personality, a natural leader and most importantly: he inspires confidence. A thing we, both the fans and the team on the ice, never got with Primeau. He’s not that kind of "laser focused goalie" like Monty. He’s an emotional player. He yells, he fights, he chirps, and his confidence is contagious. I’m proud of him, he deserves the best.

Habs are playing above their weight class currently, and I’m here for it! Not gunna let the past 10 get me carried away, but looks like Laine has helped this team. More heart, or less mental I dunno, but the boys look a tad sharper. A half second behind the play is enough to make a team look terrible, and seems like the recent Habs have caught up with the tempo a little more.
@JudyPitcher17 сағат бұрын
Only 5pts from the 2nd wildcard spot. Dobes was a wall. Arby had a fight with Greer, Dacher got 2 goals, Jakey had another shorty and topped off with a Goal Caufield goal. Good game.

It was real high class that Brendan Gallagher went straight to the opposite end of the rink to get the game puck at the final buzzer. Amazing how knowing that you have a competent goaltender on the backend can completely change a teams over all dynamic. Too many games lost where the D and forwards were afraid to make a mistake knowing there was pretty much no goaltender between the pipes. Jacob and Jakub next year, please, because I for one am tired of pretending that a career backup goaltender like Sam Mentembeau is actually a good starter. Dobes is phase one of cleaning house back there. Good riddance, Primeau, now push Monte out asap.

if he's not ready now, he may never be. primeau's been around for quite a while, and there's no reason he shouldn't have caught on by now. he's been the justin barron of goaltenders. this year was primeau's big shot, he would show us exactly what kind of goalie he was and what we can expect from his future. well, he has, in all the worst ways. he's played himself out of our future plans, and perhaps even our present ones. it's just not going to happen here.
