That's literally a life-saver video! I just started crocheting 2 months ago and I don't have any yarning needle for the moment. I try to weave in the ends with my hook, but never saw somebody do it so maybe I really had to buy a needle. I searched for videos about weaving with a hook. I found none, until today! This kind of stopped me from doing crochet since I thought I needed a yarning needle to end a project, otherwise it won't do. So, thank you a lot! ❤

@AllAboutAmiBlog
@AllAboutAmiBlog 7 ай бұрын
I’m glad you found this helpful! I use the techniques shown in this video: I like to crochet over my ends in one direction, and then I weave them in the opposite direction! If the yarn contains some wool, I also like to felt the yarn in place to prevent the ends from popping out. I have a separate video showing this technique if you want to check it out!

Do you have any advice?Whenever I make my granny squares it always turns out wobbly and never a perfect straight square.I’ve followed multiple tutorials and it NEVER works!much love Ami!
@AllAboutAmiBlog

Could it be your tension? With more practice, your tension can get more consistent so the stitches will all be a similar height. You can block your granny squares to give them straight edges too 😊

I weave my ends in all directions multiple times. Perhaps its OCD, but there is no chance my work will ever unravel, not even by busy toddler hands. (It also mean I one could never repurpose my projects, not at least losing a large chunk of yarn.)

@AllAboutAmiBlog
@AllAboutAmiBlog Жыл бұрын
Yes this blanket has been very popular, so the required colors have been selling out quickly. About two weeks ago, Agave came back in stock and all three colors that I used were available! However as you said, Salt just went out of stock and is supposed to restock in July. I try to post updates about when the colors are back in stock through my stories to alert people so they can jump on it right away when all the colors are available!

When you are crocheting the granny square, the right side will always be facing you since you’re working in joined rounds! The wrong side is bumpier. If you look at the very last round, you should see “V’s” on the outer edge of the right side!
