You are increasing the number of cases in which you get the result you want, but you're still completely blind in regards to how the game works to determine those cases. With RNG manipulation, you are manipulating your luck. You might not be increasing the number of good cases, but you know how the game chooses those cases and you use that to your advantage to predict when it will choose the one you need.

As for why she was chosen for the roster, I think it's because Sakurai wanted another Pokemon rep but the development team didn't have the time to make one from scratch, so they chose Jigglypuff since she was so similar to Kirby.

This glitch is awesome. Though just to note, theres only 2 options for getting the correct id/sid. The third option is basically invalid, because if you're already hacking the game, you're either giving yourself shinies, or activating only shinies. No reason to give yourself 21% odds if you're already cheating anyways.

The thing is, hacking to give yourself a different ID is very different than just hacking for forced Shinies. With the ID and using this glitch, the Pokemon will be considered Legal and able to use them to transfer all the way up to current gen and battle with in competition. Just "forcing" a Shiny will not always have a Legal PV or PID.

Doing this with RNG manipulation is actually incredibly easy lol. I did it on my old copy of Platinum. (The fun part is there's thousands of possibilities for cute charm IDs so you can choose a cool set of numbers. The TID and SID can also be used in combination with the Poketch and changing the DS' clock to frame advance and essentially let ANY Pokemon be guaranteed shiny. It takes much more set up but is a VERY powerful glitch Gen 2 also has an interesting... Hey everyone! I decided to try this glitch out myself because I was bored and had PKHeX on me anyways so I figured “What the hell let’s do it!” I’m gonna go ahead and tell y’all some things PokeTips didn’t mention in his video Incase y’all wanna try this as well since they’re pretty important! 1. If you’re like me and think “Well I like male Pokémon, so I’ma use a female Jigglypuff/Cute Charm Pokémon to get a bunch of male shinies!”, you’re shit outta luck because it just doesn’t work. I’ve tried for like, an hour to get a male shiny growlithe and realized this didn’t work when I went waaaaay last 1/5 odds. If you like female Pokémon, great! This glitch is perfect for you then! But if you’re like me and prefer male Pokémon, prepared to be annoyed. 2. For some reason the glitch is suuuuuper picky, and wont work when you have more than 1 Pokémon in your party. I tried hunting for another shiny while having one in my party, and the game didn’t give me one at all. Maybe it’s cause of my dumb luck? but I genuinely think the glitch stops working when you have other Pokémon in your party. You can fix this by just depositing the shiny in your box, though! I may be wrong on these, so please feel free to test my research and let me know what you’ve experienced! Thanks PokéTips for showing us this great glitch! Edit 1: You can actually have a full male team and still encounter shinies! Tested this out myself by accident and found like, 3 shiny Pokémon.

Crystal Neptune It's not 00000. You'll have to check up on a guide to see what it is, exactly.

@@marbleq9586 In order to have male shinies you have to use a different seed. The one you are using works only with a male lead. It works perfectly even if you have other pokèmon in your party, as long as you have the pokèmon with cute charm as the lead.
