Honestly, Snow White (1937 ver.) was about showing kindness to others of having gratitude. Snow White wished for true love and she met a prince who was her answer. And when she found out when her stepmother tried to kill her, she ran into the forest and befriended the animals of the forest and later The Seven Dwarfs. While Rachel Zegler's Snow White, she is not at all caring, she's more or less entitled and downright demanding. And the fact she is playing Snow White instead of the Evil Queen is absurd. Gal Gadot should have been Snow White instead because honestly, Rachel Zegler isn't 'The Fairest of them all'.

No, she did it as a dig at Gal Gadot who is Israeli. Why? Because by all accounts she is at war with her over editing issues and scenes that were cut. She hates Gal Gadot and has been raving like a nutter at the director and Gal over her demands for more screen time (allegedly). At this point shes at war with Disney too so this was both an attack on Gal and an attempt to poison pill the movie all at once. Shes allegedly impossible to work with and test audiences say her acting is just plain bad. Disney has apparently been doing reshoots and fired her from a Snow White Trilogy and other projects they had been negotiating. Mike Zeroh has been covering this in depth. Word is she is threatening to sue and I think this was her making a political statement so that she can sue and claim she was fired for her political views (like Gina Carano) instead of for her bad behavior, attacks on fans, insane comments trashing co-stars and the IP, bad acting, diva behavior on set and generally being an utter bitch.

Disney has a major believability problem here. Nobody thinks Zegler is the fairest one of all, not in looks, honesty, justness or any other category. Rachel Zegler is mid at best. Ive dated significantly better looking women while living in Mexico who were considered 7s and 8s. There is no comparrison. Zegler is a 4 at best and her personality is grating and insufferable draging her down to a zero. She doesnt even have a nice body or good acting skills to make up for it. She got in on nepotism and DEI. Gal Gadot however is a solid 9. She is neither grating nor insufferable like Zegler. She may not be the greatest actress but she makes up for it by smiling, being friendly and not being a shitheel like Zegler. If she is the wicked witch the audience is going to root for her and be attracted to her, not Zero Zegler. This brings us back to the believability problem. Nobody will believe Zegler in that role nor will they empathize or identify with her. Women want to be the desireable princess everyone loves, not the obnoxious bitch everyone hates. Bottom line, they miscast this movie badly. Now they cant fix it.
