This format is so good for people that can actually play, but just want some pointers. I'll watch the shit out of this kind of content.

The octave effect ruined it all. Big downvote for me. I am also pretty sure Randy didn't alternate pick the last run like that.

@@thomasanderson9202people like you are so obnoxiously pretentious. Spoiler alert: nobody(and I really do mean nobody) plays other people's songs 1:1 the same way they did. Hell, even people who write their own music don't play their own songs the exact same way all the time.

Greetings and salutations Mr. monocle bean , there is something offsetting in the section of the seconds 0.28-0.30 of the solo when comparing it to the original one by Randy. Upon further research the dude "the-art-of-guitar" covered the topic of the crazy train solo "anomaly" in a video and the conclusion is that Randy recorded 2 guitar tracks for the solo and in that part it differs in some minor notes. In the case of this conclusion being correct I wouldn't mind if you bloody reupload this with how you "really play this solo". May you enjoy your cups of tea onwards.

It's nice to hear that the last lick is just "slop", I've struggled with it and just came up with my own solution to play the ascending run and tap+bend the last note with my right hand

Randy did 2 takes and played different notes in some parts, so you would have to do 2 tabs to accurately tab it and play it.
@RealROCKnROLLA4 ай бұрын
Three takes and 3 slightly different tracks actually. It's a cool sound he's got there. If you watch live, you can see which parts he plays differently from this tab.

I expect that was intended to fatten the sound - as he didn't multitrack the solo for the tutorial. Tinkering with some delay settings may have worked better.
