I have owned 4 CX-5's: 1. 2017 Touring (Crystal Blue Mica) 2. 2019 GT (Soul Red) 3. 2022 Signature (Crystal Blue Mica) I currently own the 2024 Turbo Premium (Gray Metallic). I am waiting very patiently for the CX-70. I am going to pull the trigger after its been out for a few years. I love Mazda vehicles. Thank you for the video review. Beautiful vehicle. I wish they would’ve changed the armrest on the CX 5 to be a little bit longer. The short armrest and no panoramic sunroof definitely led me to buying the CX 50!

I chose the carbon edition,in my opinion you can’t beat the looks with the 19” black wheels. It doesn’t have I-stop or cylinder deactivation. The top trim is thousands more and I couldn’t justify the price difference.

I questioned it too, but just tried to build one with the Platinum exterior color for both Preferred and Premium trims on MazdaUSA and it asks you to change the exterior color when Parchment leather is selected.

I absolutely love my '18 Mazda6 Grand Touring Reserve. It's the Deep Crystal Blue over Parchment White. Mazda has been on the upswing for a while now... really starting with the 2016 Mazda6 refresh. It's crazy that this is one of their most dated and "cheap" feeling models yet it's STILL impressive. Love the direction they've been heading for the past few years, really hope they keep this streak up!

I hate the auto start stop too! My current car has it & it has to be turned off manually every time you start the car. It’s annoying & I think it wears out the engine faster

Beautiful color! Don't count on the wireless charging to function with the newer iPhones though... Magsafe and Mazda don't play well together. It worked all right on my iPhone 12PM but not on the 15PM.

I am glad that some Mazda fans are excited about the platinum quartz and zircon sand colors because, as a Mazda fan, I am not. But if people like them, and the company does well, then I am happy because the brand deserves more recognition. I wish, however, that Mazda could offer different color combinations, like a dark blue exterior with the terra-cotta interior or a dark green (like the Wrangler’s dark green) with the terra-cotta interior. And Mazda should definitely make the red interior from the carbon edition available with different colors, like the black, the gray, and the white, in the top trims. These color combos would probably have a greater impact than the colors they are introducing now.

I got the top spec turbo in silver. It’s a joy to drive and look at. I do like this platinum colour though. Mazda ideally need to improve the durability of the door pillar gloss plastic, I can even see scratches on this new car. I’ve had self healing PPF put on mine, it helps but shouldn’t be needed, the plastic should be far more durable. The iStop is not the big deal people make of it. It’s easy to apply brake force to stop yet not so much that the iStop will shut off the motor. Even if it does shut off it starts up smoothly and very quick. If you have the windshield air on then the iStop will not function so that’s a default work around for most of the year. I’ve recently hot glued a knob to the iStop button so it’s now super easy to reach down to push the iStop off without looking at it. The knob sticks out proud of the button by about 1/2 inch.

My only complaint with the color-matched painted cladding is that Mazda could have done a better job with the fit. The gaps are a bit extreme and it’s not due to the assembly, it’s the parts themselves. Other than that, it’s a good looking car and I love to drive it.

One thing I don’t understand with Mazda is that why they don’t offer all of signature bells and whistles on this trim. Not everyone wants a turbo. 22 Cx5 Signature here and I’m sick of how thirsty she is, like 16-19mpg combined. I want this trim but with all features
