That's the most gorgeous quilt top I've ever seen. And the vertical lines going from the bridge to the bottom are almost like the bearded lady guitars, but WAY better. Stunning. And nickel finish hardware, nice. Good find!!

Exceptional quilt top on that Special Edition Sixties Les Paul Standard, however, that top is nothing close to standard, it’s brilliant and has so much movement, I can see why it is a triple A quilt top. It sounds just like it should. Definitely one of the nicer quilt tops I’ve seen lately, except for the NAMM show one you featured recently. THAT PURPLE AND THE GREEN that followed it are my absolute favorite colors, EVER!!!😎 I couldn’t afford a set of the pickups!!! But… I do have a faded LP style more of a lavender that a deep violet of the color change you did and it was $350, my favorite is my Godin LG with a GK-2 pickup hooked to both a Roland GR-33 & 55 and a pedalboard!🤞someday!?!😎😳soon I’m 73! You don’t have a Firebird V that needs a daily walk do you???😵‍💫

I love the blue oceany quilts, what I want to see though is a blue-yellow burst, like the sun reflected on the water. And just generally as a color combination that can be pretty striking if done right that guitars don't do often. There's blue-white bursts that are a similar idea, and you can sort of see what I'm thinking of if you look up videos of the process for making a blue-green burst finish, where sometimes they do it by having yellow dye in the middle then applying a layer of blue over it.

I own one like it - highly recommended. I did change the pups and add a Duesenberg tremolo and locking tuners. Mine weighed in at 8.4 lbs - more manageable for 3 hr gigs-they're out there if you look for them. I paid 2750 plus shipping

I didn't realize that there was a water fall name on this standard. Shipping was so bad during Covid. I received alot of damaged articles. One broken neck on a guitar. It was covered but the inconvenience sucked. I do like the finish looks like an artic blue quilt top but what do I know. Good she Trogly thanx bud.

I've got a 2014 model in ocean water perimeter that has been may favorite guitar for 10 years now. Not a cool quilt top like this, just a flame but it's still gorgeous.

When Gibson sent my LP Classic last NOV, the same exact knob was smashed, but irreparable. They made due and sent me a whole new set, but luckily NOTHING else was damaged.

Gibson always hits it out of the park recently with the 60 standards they just sound phenomenal in my opinion they sound much better than a 50 standard heck even the bridge position on clean sounds good too

In my experience, widows don't age a guitar much as they usually leave them in the attic, closet, or under the bed if they aren't handed down or sold after the husband died.
