I absolutely love my Derringer with dual iDash A-pillar pod. Everyone has the exact same reaction when they try it with the Pedal Monster for the first time (giant smile, cheek to cheek!). The first time after I installed my Pedal Monster, I set it to the lowest performance setting on my F-450, and did a dually burnout! Surprised the hell out of me! The Ram Air gave me about an extra 10% on fuel economy.....when I keep it in stock, with mid range pedal monster setting, and can resist digging into the pedal too hard! 🤣 If you can't do all three at once, do the Ram Air first, then the Pedal Monster, and finally the Derringer....but definitely do all three!!!

I installed an iDash in my 2016 F-350 several years ago - and have never looked back. The coolest, most informative piece of gear I have ever spent money on. We tow a 30' travel trailer back and forth between Reno and Houston and my iDash makes keeping track of exhaust temps a breeze, along with all the other parameters I've programmed in. And as an added bonus, every page I've programmed has the speed at the top so I don't have to look down to see how fast I'm going. I am SO spoiled by this, I hate to drive my wife's car (where I have to look down to see the speedometer -ha).

If money was no object, while I love the body style of this truck, I think that the ultimate would be 40's on 16's with portals on each corner, so that you could actually 'wheel' this thing around in the bush and not be afraid of corners and have a little more air-down room, depending on the trail. This truck as it stands probably drives straight on asphalt or dirt fairly well and that is all.

All Banks products are warranty safe and also meet California super strick emissions. Go right ahead with the upgrades. Exhaust is from the DPF-back, like cat-back Exhaust upgrades. The intake and turbo pipes are less restrictive, and his intercoolers match the upgraded pipes. The iDash, pedal monster, tuners, and add-on sensors all work with your stock engine management system. Go watch the videos on the testing and development of those items.

Messing with the computer will probably cause issues if you have something break. Pretty much all turners leave a footprint and depending on the dealership they may reject a warranty claim because of that.

@bmstylee Banks stuff doesn't open or reprogram the engine computer. If you have watched the development videos, they at Banks explain how they intercept the raw sensor data and change it before it reaches the engine management computer. Likewise, it taps into the OBD system to read all the telemetry so it can be displayed on the Banks gauges. As a failsafe, all of the Banks electronics will default to factory throughput on the data streams. Other tuners on the market that experience any type of failure trip codes in the EMC and brick the vehicle and leave a footprint behind. Banks tuning doesn't leave a footprint, and if your vehicle is leased, you can easily remove it and not affect the end of lease value.

Banks is headquartered in the Los Angeles area, and everything that can change emissions on a vehicle has to go through the California Air Resources Board, the California EPA, if you will. All of his products have CARB Certification, something that is NOT easy to do. When something meets or exceeds CARB, Federal EPA also signs off on it. Gale isn't a rookie at tuning, he's been doing this since the 1960s. Everything is patented, everything has certification, everything is tested to hell and back. Banks isn't selling delete kits, different cams, different injectors, different engine internals. He sells airflow and electronic response while leaving as much of the engine bone stock as he possibly can. The one exception being the Cummins grid heater replacement. That stock part destroys engines even in climates that don't need to use it.

I built one from an f450 regular cab and it turns better than an truck on the road. I run 44s. I have much better axles in the f 450. Let me tell you this one with 46” tires can’t turn without rubbing bad. My 44s do and no amount of lift will fix it.
