I'll stick with a sponge, to me those brushes are too soft for applying something as viscous as tyre serum but I like the idea of the holder, definitely more efficient than keeping an applicator sponge in a sandwich bag 🤣 It's definitely more of a long term product than a 'wash and apply' one so it'll be interesting to see your follow up(s) over the next few weeks/months 👍🏼

Re: the tire dressing brush. Anybody wanting one of these in a pinch feel free to head down and pick up a dense make-up brush. May be labeled foundation brush, or Kabuki brush but it's the exact same thing and you can get it in many sizes and styles.

I’ve got the InterDetailing version and it’s the best tyre dressing/conditioner applicator I’ve ever used. The control over where the product goes was the best feature for me

Hi Specky you seem to be using my method of cleaning wheels and tyres. I have been using Serum for a while now and although I was a little disappointed with it at the start, as the layers built up over multiple applications, I became a fan. I use nothing else now and in fact finished my 500ml bottle and well into my 1 Litre bottle. With regards wheel, tyre and arch cleaning I spray the decon onto the tyre and arch, diluted 10 to 1 then cover the arch, tyre and wheel barrel and face with wheel shampoo from my pump sprayer diluted 20ml into 800ml water. As soon as the foam hits the decon on the tyre if there is dirt on the tyre the foam instantly turns brown. Very impressive. I am looking forward to trying their snow foam in due course. Good film and review as usual.

Looks promising. When you applied it, looked rather similar to Carpro Perl. Unfortunately there are no GT products available in Hungary and considering the taxes, postage and so, they are not good value for money anymore. Managed to get a few before the new customs rules were applied this July and happy with those. Thanks for the review Specky.

It's designed for rubber so rubber trim should be fine, not sure about plastic trim

What you said about leaving the car longer than you wanted to , better that than cleaning a clean car thats not testing products too hard . And only so many neighbours you can ask to use their own cars to work on . Brushes look good , Im using a AD tyre applicator and whilst it does a lovely job it does get messy and when you use it next it your getting product still on your hands . Something to consider the brush , the GT product , I like a slightly more gloss look but I will look into some once Im out of what Im using right now

The serum itself........well.........it doesn't look off the charts spectacular or anything...........what I am really intrigued by is the BRUSH! I definitely want to get one of those brushes. That brush looks amazing. My only problem now is getting the darned brush here in the US of A! Garage Therapy isn't distributing anything here in the US yet and we can't get the stuff unfortunately because they really look like an amazing detailing products company. Thank you for taking the time to review these.

Hi Specky, that brush looks great, may be good for tyres with more "stuff" on the sidewall, 4x4 etc. I've been using GT Tyre Serum for a good while now and I have to say it only gets better over time with a top up added now and then. Seems to make the tyre very easy to clean, nothing more than Wheel Shampoo needed. I've also found it great on door rubbers, even useful on rubber footwear!

Great product and I really like the finish it leaves on exterior trim too.. Whilst I don't understand the science being it or even how it does all the protection stuff when only one side of a tyre is protected I do like the finish .

Two polymers. One polymer penetrates the rubber and the other does not penetrate the rubber leaving behind a protective layer.

Nice review Specky, I'm looking forward to trying it, I'm currently using perl neat on tyres, how does the serum feel once on? I find perl can be greasy for a while (unless my process is at fault not the product😁)

It's not greasy at all, it's water based so it dries quickly

Thanks for demonstrating this tyre brush I’ve been waiting to see it in action after yourself and Paul were talking about it in your podcast. Think I’m going to have to get one. Just one thing. Do you need to clean it out after using it if your using it as a dedicated tyre dressing brush?

Great question, I would say it depends on how often you use it and what type of dressing you use. Regular use with a water based dressing is probably not requiring a wash after each use but silicone based dressings might clog it up a bit. Best practices for brush maintenance likely suggest washing it out after each use to be on the safe side.

Would be nice if someone could do a 50/50 with this tyre conditioner. The Brush looks good I’ll give the Garage therapy a swerve as in my opinion it doesn’t look that good on the tyre. Thanks for the review.

use a paint pad for tyre dressings, but just orderded one look to good to miss, have you tried it with the infinity wax rubber wax? if not another short vid idea .

In looking at GT tyre serum I purchased the GT wheel shampoo which oh my God is a game changer I’m proper into that at the minute but what makes the GT serum a tyre conditioner rather than a tyre dressing. I looked at it to on the GT website and with delivery it £17.00

Rather than just sitting on the tyre it "feeds" the tyre to keep it looking better for longer. It's my absolute favourite tyre product.

Hi there Specky, have you ever considered reviewing Carplan's tyre paint? I just got some after forgetting it even existed for about 30 years and it seems to work a treat, haven't given it the 3 month test yet as it's only recently been applied. But jolly good so far I must say. I applied it with a throwaway cheepo Morrisons washing up sponge, very dark consistency so do wear gloves, nice finish OEM style. Great vid btw, love you guys for reviewing all these things, don't know how we got by in the old days!

Hey Specky, nice review. I'm still using the first tub of Inifity Rubber Wax that I found out about here and alternate between it and 303. Haven't felt the need to try something else yet but this one looks interesting. BTW, a month ago we were back in the Highlands (Ballater) and went for a walk round Loch Muick. I remember you commented once that it was a great spot to visit. We absolutely loved it and will be going back every time we're at Craigendarroch. I kept looking around in case I'd bump into you 😂. The weather was gorgeous!
