Fantastic film! It’s definitely on our list for later in the year. We drive a VW Syncro because although a defender is cool, having the ability to sleep, cook etc without going outside is invaluable.

Another great film….really good, you guys have come along way in a very short time. Great photography, more authentic than many and information and commentary much improved…. Look forward to the next episode. Having travelled through much of Europe in a Defender…..I am really pleased we now have a Toyota Hilux extracab with a camping unit with a raisable roof on the back. Soooo much more comfortable, more water, longer range….but each to their own…..and we are much older and need a few comforts these days! Cracking stuff..keep it up!

Another well crafted and informative video. I only recently discovered your videos but am viewing as many as I can. I do wonder why your snorkel RAM head is facing rearward this completely negates the benefit of the RAM effect which forces clean air into your engine. If you are worried about the ingress of dust and other potential pollutants you can install a snorkel sock. I’ve been driving Defenders in Australia for 35+ years with the RAM head facing forward with no I’ll effects. I use a sock in very dusty conditions. They work well on Td5 and Tdi’s, but can create issues with MAF sensors on Pumas. Looking forward to more great videos!

Wow thank you very much! That is really nice to hear. Australia is our dream destination one day! Our mechanic said it was better facing like this because the air is not pushed into the engine. But we didn’t do it ourself with a specific reason 😂
