If you wanna do the first method at home, here’s a tip: Get a tall glass for the calcium salt so that the drops of flavored sodium agitate can have a long fall down to the bottom of the glass. This helps them not stick together

Hey Cali and Nate I noticed you guys have the Hi-C drink. I used to drink that all the time especially if you freeze it and pull it out to thaw until it’s a slushy consistency is the best but I personally preferred the Orange Lavaburst flavor. Orange Lavaburst as a slushy is life I’m telling you! I wonder if you took a bottled tea like Snapple and used it in this same experiment like peach flavored Snapple tea is great. Or what about kool-aid mixed up and used in this experiment? I always enjoy your videos regardless of who is presenting or hosting the experiments! Thanks for sharing! 🤔☺️👍🏻❤️

I only wish the chemical ingredients were cheaper...then it would be more fun to do. I first heard about this type of thing in the Food Wars/Shokugeki no Soma manga, the main character used this to make a seaweed bento by making seaweed 'pearls' using this method so that each one had the flavor of seaweed in them and put them over a bed of rice..since apparently seaweed bento with a sheet of nori over the rice is a cheap and rather well known bento..and he turned it on it's head using this method.
