@@jeremygranger7144 So one of you makes the majority!! 🤣 But good thing is that you are standing behind your PM for the right cause. Supporting terrorists and terrorisms in your backyard is always a right thing to do. That is what Pakistan politicians also did for decades, and a lot of their people supported it. Today those snakes from their backyard are biting them and state of Pakistan is for everyone to see. I would argue Pakistanis got what they deserved, if one supports negativity that is what they get. Canada would soon become Pakistan of the West under Trudeau and people like you deserve what they aspire for, so you should surely support Trudeau on this.

You are right. Majority of Canadians don't support Trudeau. This stupid statement from him in an attempt to pander part of NDP constituents was also made by him because he is loosing support and approval among Canadian people. If Hagmeet (Khalistani) pulls support and elections are held there is no chance that Trudeau can ever win again. Rather it would be a disgraceful exit for him from the office. His this statement has two purposes 1. cling to power by bowing down to Jagmeet 2. Distract Canadian public from much serious issues such as housing, cost of living and failing healthcare system in Canada.

JT wanted to be a HERO and now there is no turning back. India will spank Canada for years now. What JT didn't realise was India is not Indian Govt. India is 1.4 billion Indians and Modi has been given a job to run the country. If you use the word INDIA, you literally are saying it to 1.4 billion Indians, not Modi and his Govt. Be CAREFUL!!

I am surprised that there is not even an iota of evidence from local police work. Who were the killers, what types of guns were used, where are the killers now (India//Canada/elsewhere)? Did Surrey police find anything at all? The statement about India needs to cooperate with the investigation in reality equivalent to Canada saying “we have intelligence that India is involved, but we cannot share it, just trust us. And we want India to investigate the matter and implicate itself”. 🥺

Canadians seem to have some intelligence but it’s not substantial enough to make a solid case without India validating it (that’s why they seek cooperation). They’re seeking immediate acknowledgment from India (pre investigation) to bring temperatures down (face saving for Trudeau infront of Khalistanis & liberal voters) & ensure it becomes a deterrence for India to not repeat it. Delhi should dig in & keep pushing for credible evidence. Let’s see who blinks first. Knowing Modi, Doval & Jaishankar, this won’t end well for Trudeau

Push too hard and you will see how Americans will always give india diplomatic lip service but will always stay by Canada’s side and if that bugs india they will soon find themselves fighting with America too. Indians don’t seem to understand the way our LONG held super power ally-ship works. It’s funny to us westerners to see how India thinks they are bigger and more important than they are. Do Indians not realize we have different cultures and view things differently? I’m not saying Khalistan isn’t a terrorist group but they don’t understand how small the Indian population is in Canada compared to all the other race make up. India h the inks all of Canada is Indian and cares about Indian problems that don’t effect us. Now that we know what is going on obviously we will put a stop to it but we simply didn’t know before. India shaking its finger too hard at us trying to put us down as a country when we Canadians have vacationed in India and see the unhygienic garbage heap your government makes you live in. We see you taking a bath in water you use as a toilet and throw dead bodies into- and you think we take you as seriously as the western world? That’s not the way human nature works. If Indians want to continue putting Canada down- watch out because we will throw it right back at you and have much more facts to work with. If we are so bad then why do you immigrate here? These are things Indians aren’t thinking through. Fight with one super power and the others will give you lip service in diplomacy to use you geopolitically but the will never leave each other’s sides over a second world country row.

History ------- Nijjar was born in Jalandhar, Punjab. He was a close associate of Khalistan Commando Force (KCF) militant Gurdeep Singh, who was “involved in more than 200 killings in Punjab during late 1980s and early 1990s How did he enter Canada ? ( none of our business - but here it is ) ------- In 1996, when police in India started probing his links with Khalistani militant outfits and his involvement in criminal activities, he fled to Canada on a forged passport. He used the fake passport under the alias Ravi Sharma, and applied for asylum in Canada by claiming that he feared persecution in India because of his ‘alleged’ links to Sikh militancy. In 1997, Nijjar’s asylum plea was rejected by Canadian authorities as they found it fabricated. Just days after his plea was rejected, he entered into a marriage agreement with a lady, who reportedly sponsored his immigration. Actions against India -------- 2012: Nijjar visited Pakistan and met Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) chief Jagtar Singh Tara. BKI is a designated terrorist organisation in India and is believed to have close ties with Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI. Jagtar Singh Tara reportedly imparted arms and IED training to Nijjar in Pakistan. 2013: Tara sent US-based Harjot Singh Birring to Canada to impart training to Nijjar in operating hand-held GPS devices. In return, Nijjar sent one million Pakistani rupees to Tara. 2014: Nijjar planned a terror attack on Dera Sacha Sauda Headquarters in the northern Indian state of Haryana. The plan was foiled as India denied entry to Nijjar. 2014: Interpol published a Red Corner Notice (RCN) against Nijjar for masterminding more than a dozen cases of murder and terror. 2014-2015: “The details of cases were shared with Canadian authorities but no action was taken. Also, despite RCN, Canadian authorities did not take any action except putting him on a no-fly list," the dossier says. Inaction from the Canadian authorities further encouraged Nijjar’s terror activities in India. 2014: Nijjar directed his module to target former top police official in Punjab Mohd Izhar Alam, and Punjab-based political leaders Nishant Sharma and Baba Mann Singh Ji Pehowa Wale. 2015: Nijjar and Tara planned a terror attack in Punjab and raised a gang in Canada which included Mandeep Singh Dhaliwal, Sarbjit Singh, Anupveer Singh and Darshan Singh Fauji. They were imparted arms training in British Columbia, Canada in December 2015. The same year, Tara was deported to India, and Nijjar assumed the role of the chief of the Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF) April 2021: Nijjar again visited Pakistan as a part of “Baisakhi jatha" but used the visit to get training in arms and explosives for a fortnight. “After returning to Canada, he started arranging funds for terror activities through his associates engaged in drugs and arms smuggling in Canada. Nijjar was also associated with Sikhs For Justice, a banned terrorist organisation, as the head of its Canada chapter He had also organised violent anti-India protests in Canada and threatened Indian diplomats. He had also given a call to ban Indian embassy officials from participating in various programmes organised by local gurdwaras in Canada He masterminded killings inside India while living in Canada. Nijjar was linked to murder of Manohar Lal Arora and Jatinderbir Singh Arora, a father-son duo, famous for their anti-Panthic activities in 2020. “In the attack, Manohar Lal was shot dead at his residence in Bathinda on Nov 20, 2020 but his son escaped. Nijjar had sent money from Canada for their murder," says the dossier. In 2021, Nijjar also tried to get a priest killed at his native village in Punjab, “but the priest survived," according to the dossier. Indian officials also say that in a bid to escape the Red Corner Notice, Nijjar got involved in Gurudwara politics in Canada. In 2021, he became the president of Surrey Gurdwara by ousting his cousin Raghbir Singh Nijjar ________ Conclusion : If your dog bites my house members and I warn you to ensure your dog stays chained and not do it.. But if you give free hand to your dog and it keeps biting my people, then I have every right to go inside your house and kill the dog.. Then your rule of law is not sufficient for me to consider.. In this case, I would question the intent of Canada and that of their PM as they acted like a terrorist. We shared all info with them and yet they did nothing for years. So they are as responsible like this Nijjar guy is.. How can I assume that Canada did not help him to do these terror activities

"A credible allegation of a potential link" is weak to begin with. Following up a week later with no evidence is even weaker.

This is one of the honest and very oepn discussion with soemone from the west. The Beligian proxy movement in congo was a nice example, I really appreciate that he brought this out, because nobody talks about that.

To me this is straightforward, India should cooperate only under certain conditions. All anti India terrorist activities should be on the table: 1. Start with Kanishka bombing: expose the massive Canadian cover up, justice for the 329 souls who perished in the most heinous way, compensation to the victims' families and reparations 2. Targeted attacks on Indian missions and diplomats 3. Go after the Khalistanis advocating for dismemberment of India, etc. Unless Canada addresses how it will tackle this scourge of terrorism on its soil what's the point in cooperating?

Hardeep was a Canadian citizen and Khalistani terrorist and was on Usa no fly list . So the Americans knew more about him then the Canadians. To them he was a plumber with a AK-47 😂😅😆

Michael Rubin's smile at the end of the interview was really telling. It was as if he was smiling because he had pulled one over on you. If India is looking for help to repair this diplomatic blunder they better not turn to Michael Rubin or any of those who espouse the same or similar beliefs. It seemed after the BRICS and G20 summits that India could do little wrong and now all of that has been destroyed. The world is getting to see a hidden part of India that few get to see and know. Either way this could help India and Indians in the long run.

Is there some insistence in The Print that one must throw one's hands about and ask long, convoluted questions.

Good interview, thanks ThePrint! One request: during a conversation, please show the panelists alone on the screen, and not other pictures (like the flags of countries and the faces of their leaders) that just tend to distract.

Still remember how Modiji coined India Canada relationship. He even developed a new maths theorem for that purpose: a + b x ( ) square..! . He predicted "2 ab" will come out of this bond. Unfortunately at the end 2 diplomats expelled instead....!

Michael Rubin's points are so clear and fundamental. I wish the idiots in Canada stop appeasing terrorists and criminals for political reasons and funds. I work and interact with so many Sikhs and I have never seen any kind of hostility or anger against India and always are wonderful to deal with.
