I've been saying the same thing. He had been to Pabu and he knew about the Batch's connection to Phee, so why would he need to track them back to Pabu? He knew they were staying there between missions, so why would that not be the first place he would look for Omega?

It might be that the way his brain is wired might have made it possible to wipe and reprogram his mind. In the two most recent episodes, it's revealed that the Clone Assassin didn't know who Phee was until Cid (referred to as the Trandoshan) gave him intel about her. It's also revealed that the Clone Assassin didn't know about the planet Pabu until he accessed the data on Phee's ship. If the clone assassin was truly Tech, he would have already known about Phee and Pabu beforehand. The fact that he didn't indicates that he isn't Tech.

He could have had his memory wiped to make it easier for him to be controlled. Remember these Shadow’s have their identity completely wiped. Crosshair’s will was just too strong to be broken by whatever they tried but Tech in his weakened state couldn’t fight back.

@@vanguardtrainer924 You're stretching it. Especially given that if what you're suggesting is correct, then 3/4 of the 'evidence' that this video has brought up has to be discarded. The usage of specific words like 'domicile', the suggestion that the clone assassin was familiar with Phee's ship, the suggestion that the clone assassin was personally attached to the bad batch because he easily singled out Omega and referred to them as 'Rogue clones'. Alot of the video's 'evidence' is incredibly flimsy and based on extreme conjecture, where largely insignificant details are overinterpreted so that they sound more important than they actually are. But if what you're suggesting is correct, and Tech's memory has been wiped, then nearly all of the video's evidence has to be discarded regardless, because the evidence is based off parts of Tech's personality and memories, which would have been wiped.

If it is Tech, then it makes his death lose stakes and meaning as a moment for the bad batch to move on. I would rather him just remain unmasked (as underwhelming as it sounds) and have him be Crosshair’s rival whom he has to kill, or sacrifice himself to kill in the climax of a battle or finale , as he’s getting the tech treatment and completing his redemption story.

The X trooper that was locked up on Rex's base knew who CrossHair was and vice versa. So, they either trained in a group or were familiar with the others being trained. In which case...CrossHair would have seen Tech and would have informed the Batch so, they could rescue him and turn him back. So, I am doubtful that Tech was in that group of X troopers.

Other things to note that hint it’s Tech- He leaves with omega by himself on his own ship. Not with the empire, omega can somehow get the chance to reveal its tech and maybe reason with him. Also he waits until wrecker is clear of the ship before blowing it up. But close enough to know what can knock wrecker out but not kill him. No one else would know that distance like tech.

i don't think it's tech or cody. is just someone else. for example when rex captured one of these agents. then he knew who rex was. and if this agent is cody or tech then that rex or the batch team would completely know their tactics how they would always act. I totally agree with your predictions. I also have an idea as to how he can be saved; remember how Ahsoka freed Rex from his inhibitor chip? Well, Omega could potentially have the ability to use the force if Midichlorians are injected into her blood, and with a little experience with animals as well as that small training from Gungi and Ventress, she could learn by herself how to tap into it. This would then help her “sense” and find the circuits or components that are controlling Tech (or and Clone X Asassins in general) which would restore his free will…

I believe from the clone wars series from the Umbra arc it could be Dogma or Slick with the shadow conditioning and advanced training to deal with the Bad Batch

You make a good point and if tech was dead then they would have showed a grave or casket but jut his broken goggles is strange 🤔 I personally think tech survived the fall but was captured and tortured by the empire and turned into a shadow soldier or dark soldier. Something else is when this dark soldier fights crosshair he says you had a chance to be one of us so why would this dark soldier say that if they never met 🤔

if it is Tech, he must have had his memory wiped, because Tech knows EXACTLY where Pabu is because he pilots the Marauder there several times. If he hadnt had his memory wiped then he wouldnt have had to interrogate Cid to find the location to track Phee to get the islands location...
