I remember when you first reacted to BTS and no cap I thought "ah man a really decent reactor that we'll lose to the fact that you just can't translate Korean well to English"...well we can to an extent but I really thought you'd do what most do and just pretend to be hyped up at it all then give up. But man 2 years later and here we are. There aren't many good translations for this because Suga/Agust D has always rapped in a really almost uncomfortably blunt and direct way. So IMAGINE how much harder this is for the audience he's directing it at. Madness. Also thanks for being the most intelligent and culturally aware broski out here. You a real one.

Man he's going on tour next month across the US and some of Asia and he's performing as both Suga and Agust D. What I'd give to be there! This reaction was goated!

Agust D - Tony Montana (there's two versions - the original with a rapper named Yankee or a live/studio version with Jimin). Balling song 🔥
@Treycrete Жыл бұрын
Tony Montana is another aggressive one. More experimental with auto tune but if you’re into Scarface there’s a lot of fun to pick out in it. Also another big diss song. Yankee’s verse and his cadence switches is pretty good but I never see good lyrics for it

finally another knox hill/bts vid! always a good combo. agust d - what do you think?, burn it, people, so far away (idk if you did this one already) zico - extreme, no you can't j-hope - hangsang, arson (if you haven't already)

What makes this interesting from you as a rapper/producer to Suga as a rapper producer is that he uses auditory motifs to enhance his lyrics and music (the barking etc) and you pick them up! delightful analysis. Suga/Agust D is very fond of recurring/repetitive themes and motifs to anchor is work.. honestly you might also love Dear My Friend from D2 (the lyrical content, delivery match the production of the song)💜

have you reacted to sexy nukim yet by balming tiger (ft rm)? that rap track was unlike anything i'd ever heard - i feel like those boys really pushed the envelope for sounds and groove, they're amazingly talented !! thanks for this reaction - loved it and learned a ton !!

Thank you you for putting this on YT! I always hoped you’d continue the ‘Agust D’ mv with this as it’s meant to be the conclusion or aftermath/wreckage from the original mv. Suga produced this one too and I can’t wait to hear your thoughts!

i never planned on getting into rapping, but he inspired me to take it up. his music is so raw and vulnerable

Trailer just dropped for an upcoming Suga Doc which shows him travelling different places to find new sounds/inspirations for his continuing music journey. The lead up to his new album and tour! I think he’s going to show us a completely different side…I’m thinking folk type music maybe. Also shows Anderson Paak in the studio with him. can’t wait man!!

Hey man. This is a nice surprise! Loved what you said about the dog analogy. I might be reaching but I also take it like a sly diss on most rappers (especially in K-Pop) that are ‘trained’ to rap rather than it coming from a place of passion or love for music. But I think overall it ties in with the first song as taking shots at the hip hop crowd who were the first to give him a lot of shit for joining a company (albeit a more or less indie company at that time) but are the ones who care (and rap) most about the money and what they can do to get it. Love his aggression and what makes it more impactful is that those rappers actually came for RM more than for Suga, but Suga hit back so hard and has never taken his foot off their necks. He’s a legend 🙌🏼

If I had to describe him in a word it would be unique or versatile. Never know what direction his songs are going in. A top tier breakdown.

Hey Knox! Agust D is coming with a new album and pre-release single this Friday! It's described as the conclusion of the Agust D album trilogy (so Agust D was his 1st mixtape, D2 was his 2nd and now D-Day!). Can't bloody wait and really hope you'll be able to do an album breakdown like RM and J-Hope!! BTS have released so much music since their official group "pause" - we're very lucky 💜
@dingdong-lu8cm Жыл бұрын
They’ve had the James Brown sample cleared for the Agust D song you enjoyed Knox (the one preceding this) so it’s officially on music platforms from today in preparation for D-Day!!! Really hope you can do the whole album when it drops like you did with Namjoon and Hope 💜🙏 I KNOW it’ll be an epic breakdown!

Suga is born into royal bloodline - literally. He is from a royal bloodline - now a emperor of rap ;D Born a tiger can't live like a dog, kinda noblesse oblige: if you do something you'll better be darn best at it. Same thing, but different and younger bloodline than Jin and Tae (who are something like extremely far away cousins to each other) who are from an older royal bloodline. :/

Your breakdowns and music are serious escapism for me. Don’t mind saying this here where it’s quieter but my mental health has been in the gutter. Just really value you and want you to know I really appreciate you. Help Me speaks to my soul. Thank you for pushing through the misinformation and stigma surrounding BTS to really do their music justice ❤

I have heard most of the bts songs before but watching them with you aagain, some how puts things into a whole different perspective, its amazing. if you want you can react to Reflection by cameron philllip or even The end of the world by him. i like both of them. cameron even does bts english remixes. BTS also reacted to his black swan remix once when they were watching fan covers. I also heard your song, help me. It was great. it iwas the first song i heard from you and I am surely going to check out more of them now.

Agust D is coming soon! Not sure if you’ve listened to his first two mixtapes but it’s the story of his 20s but through Agust D. This new album will be the final chapter but not sure if that means for Agust D or just for this story. Hope you can do an album review! He’s obviously written and composed all songs and has done the overall production - when he produces you know it’s about to be experimental!!

He sure gave them the 2 finger salute his this track. ( 2 finger salute UK terms that has a 2 fold meaning. Come's from when we were at war with the French. Our long bow archers were the best in the then known world. When they entered the battle field they'd hold up the 2 fingers which they use to pull back string and hold the arrow of the Long Bow. It was a 'F U' to the French,' we have our fingers and it's also says we have the victory already, you have time to leave the battle field otherwise your dead. Those Arrows fired from the Long Bows had an extremely long reach and would go through Chainmail armour).
