The Apollo IE has arrived! With IE standing for Intensa Emozione, there is not much that carries more presence - just feast your eyes over it! Joining a private preview with Apollo, I have the opportunity to walk around it and be shown more details by the team responsible for the development in a very first look at the new hypercar.
Powered by a naturally aspirated 6.2 litre V12 with over 800PS and an 8,800rpm red line, housed inside a full carbon body, the rebirth of Apollo is done in style. Walking around the car, the predatory inspirations from nature can be seen throughout. With particular attention to the rear wing, supported by a top mounted fin towards the back and then continuing around the car to find cutaways for aerodynamics and visual presence.

It' looks so utterly stellar, i'm totally blown away by it's looks - but thinking about the weight, the naturally aspirated v12, the downforce it is said to generate, it is even more ridiculous. I don't know if roland gumpert is still working at what used to be his company, but i easily can imagine him smiling, when he saw this car for the first time. Can't freaking wait to see and know more of this unreal thing.

All latest hypercars are looking like toys compared to this. They are more functional then good looking, this one defenetly has the wow factor and will be on games and bedroom posters. There is no part that I don't like about it, is the perfect incarnation of a modern hypercar and that exoust is so SF, this is not real, is an alien car, the design guy is pretending to be human 😀. I can not wait to hear it and see it running, for sure it has the performance as well, at just 1200 kg wheiths the same as small hatchback, but with that downforce and the hp/tork it should be a monster on the track and street. Fenomenal achievement by Apollo, always liked their radical cars but they were just some track cars adapted for the streets, now this one is just too perfect!!! Thanks a lot Tim for giving us the chance to see the latest and greatest inventions in the automotive industry! Keep it on, wish you were one of the Top Gear guys or maybe have your own TV show, you should really think about it, you totally deserve it!

Wow.. I haven't been excited by the sheer artistry of a car's design since the Countach when I was a kid! A truly amazing and beautiful piece of engineering. Pagani makes some truly beautiful machines, but they're more like jewelry and none get the blood boiling visually quite like this one. I really appreciate it's functional simplicity as well.
