These turbos rely on gravity to drain so you need to make sure the drain is pointed directly downwards get rid of the 90 an fitting and put a straight fitting for best oil flow. Plus make sure the drain hole on the flange matches upto the drain hole on the turbo. I used that exact same kit on my brand new precision turbo the drain size on turbo was almost twice as big as that of the ebay flange. Blew that turbo right off the dyno because oil couldn’t Flow out fast enough

just wanna let you know I did the exact same thing gasket wise but for my Ingersoll Rand SS3L3 Air Compressor, you cant get an oem gasket kit and the aftermarket ones dont crush right and leave a gap, so my last resort was to cut and make my own gasket out of that exact sheet of material, works great! only issue is a tiny bit of air seeps out compared to the crushed metal gasket so after 2 days the compressor is back to like 0psi but at least it pumps up all the way now!

i would try and get the the oil feed and drain clocked better otherwise that turbo isnt gonna last long

Not trying to be a troll(fellow JZ 350Z owner) you need to fix the turbo feed and drain you want it as straight as possible. I know it’s not cost effective but I’d try and switch your turbo setup to a vband which will give you the ability to clock the turbo better
