Henry, you could do a series on ‘England’s worst sewers’ and I, for one, would still love it! Your channel is half spectacular photography and half ‘Henthusiasm’!! You carry us in your backpack wherever you go, and we are all the better for it! Keep it coming, wherever your spirit takes you!

I'm getting tired of saying the same things time and again BUT what else can i say. Infectious enthusiasm, down to earth guy living his dream, its a pleasure to watch and at the same time enabling people like myself that are less mobile, the opportunity to see the views from the top of a mountain. So on behalf of people like myself, thank you and well done

Henry-Just keep doing what you're doing man! You have the unique ability to not only entertain and educate, but your infectious enthusiasm is extremely motivating. You could photograph a discarded shoe and make people not only enjoy your video and see beauty in it, but make your audience want to go out and photograph a discarded shoe as well! You have found your niche and you fit perfectly with what you're doing, and you're doing it perfectly. We ALL appreciate you brother!

My favourite too. The Lakes are my favourite place. Used to visit regularly but now, living in the south west, it's a fair old way to go. I am enjoying watching your videos and following your routes on my OS maps, and my Wainwright books. Have walked many of the fells in this area. Great Gable, Great End, Glaramara, Scafell. Strangely never Seathwaite.
@AliasJimWirth3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I was expecting to view one of these Wainwright videos every now and again. But it does not matter to me where you go or how often you go there. For me, it's about the photography. If you come back with a killer photo to share and with your excellent commentary concerning it, I don't care if it was in your back yard. The keeper photo and the experience outside makes for a worthwhile episode. Hey, keep "crackin' on". Loving it. Thank you for your channel.

Seathwaite is a HAMLET, Henry! Calling it a town is like calling Keswick a city. Nice video. Seathwaite Fell is a beauty for little tarns and views of bigger mountains. A real favourite of mine.

I agree the last two were the best. Loved the video relit some fond memories of my trips to the lakes, I wild camped at styhead tarn on my last trip, hiking in from Wasdale, but I have also done the Hike from Seathwaite to Seathwaite Fell, but from what I can remember I took the other route as passed Sprinkling Tarn first. I have get back up next year....

Possibly a book, Henry's Photo Tour of the Wainrights coming out of this? I know this patch of the Lake District very well, and I love it. Many times I have stood facing the wind, rain and hail as it sweeps in from Wast Water, yelling at the weather. It is so exhilarating. As to the views of Great Gable, my favourite mountain by the way, looming in and out of the cloud looking all moody and scary. That Henry, is definitely top Drawer!!

I think you’re doing the great man proud Henry. Know this one so well, and the first time I went up there I was eleven! First shot was great just right amount of movement in the water. The two tarns on Glaramara I took the same shot with my mate before I emigrated to Australia, so this is a very special video for me. Thanks Henry can’t wait until you do Great End you’ll need a head for heights for that one bud!👍 lovely little image with the Olly of Castle Crag in the centre of the midground.

Cracking piece, and one of my favourite places too. Ended up standing on Seathwaite Tarn on a deep frozen February afternoon, with a full blizzard and whiteout. The creaking under the foot of snow gave the game away. Do you think "Town of Seathwaite" is stretching it a bit, given its somewhat diminutive size. Keep it up, and look forward to you doing Great End, Esk Pike and Haystacks for some Wow moments. Thanks for all of your hard work to do these.

50K subscribers! Well Deserved. As ever your enthusiasm and common sense approach to photography shine through. That said, I'm going to play devil's advocate here and say we wouldn't mind a bit of coastal work to break up the Wainwrights - there's over 200 of them. I really enjoy your videos and will always view but the beauty of the Lake District is the same beauty wherever you look , varied only by the weather we we viewers can't experience at first hand. There, I've said it. It's an opinion guys, don't get at me!
