Very nice. Only data point missing which would be nice to have would be angle of attack but not critical. The graphics are excellent. Biggest issues are obviously price and accuracy. Price does not seem to bad given the features - I especially like that the E6 connectivity is a not subscription based

Is the projector built into it? If not, how do they pair up on the ceiling ? I presently have a Skytrak system that disconnects a lot and I would consider replacing it. Is there a warranty available ? What is the ceiling footprint and can it be mounted a couple of feet off center ? How far does it need to be mounted from the screen and will it work with a 9 foot ceiling ?

Hi Gabe, great review. I have one query that popped straight Into my mind.... is the hitting zone adjustable because the laser circle that appears in your review to place the ball into looks rather small... hitting from such a tiny spot doesn't seem practical across the entire club range in the golf bag, and the hitting mat would cop a beating repeatedly in the same spot.... could you please elaborate if this is adjustable... thanks

No, it’s not adjustable. Once it’s fixed it’s in place permanently a lot of folks like to use hitting strips and those can be changed out when it wears down. In my situation, I just rotate the mat a bit.

Thanks for the video. I am looking for a golf sim and bring a lefty I need something I dont have to move back and forth when friends commoner. I have a couple of questions. Can you play GSpro on this? Since you hit in such a small area wont that wear out the hitting turf faster? Can you move the hitting target area? thanks again.

I’d stick with the e6 Apex software that is included, it’s awesome and will get even better. As for mats, they do wear down but some opt for hitting strips or simply do what I do and place the mat above the carpet and move around. Hope that helps.

I have a GCQuad now but am looking for a Ceiling LM so I can have my Left handed buddies play in my simulator - Are you able to compare the Uneekor EyeXO LM and the Apogee - I am looking at both units and want the most accurate data I can get that is close to my GCQuad -

Interesting to see how it compares to the GC Hawk which I use at the simulator place I play at in the winter. I also wonder if GS pro will work with this. I don’t know the cost of E6 but GSpro has quite a few courses as well.

They’ve included a perpetual software license in the price, so the good news is there are no annual fees. Apex (courses coming in fall) is better looking than GS Pro to my eye. I don’t think we will see native integration to that one.

Very nice and thorough review. Definitely looks like a solid unit. What turns me off is obviously the price. I tend to think Truegolf charge a premium because they charge a Premium for their software. For example, E6 Connect is just crazy expensive compared to GSPro and it is definitely not a better simulator software. I would want a direct comparison with something like the Protee VX. What makes this unit significantly better than that unit? The price point is way higher so what is the point of difference to validate that higher price?

Gabe sir I love your content and I have personally bought a few different sets of irons based on your reviews… curious if you have seen the new Ram Golf irons the fxt line looks to be an updated version of the fx-77… also macgregor released a new set of Macspd irons both hollow body foam filled ‘players distance’ iron sets… I personally don’t have the disposable income to just buy multiple sets and see which one I like… but these options intrigue me quite a bit… wondering if there’s any chance you would give them a review in the future? That looks waaay cool! Regarding tech, do you need to run a power computer tower for this or can you just use an ipad? Less hardware = less clutter and more space. And are there mandatory subscriptions to unlock the features? It appears that has been a sticking point for some simulator users.

It does require a pretty powerful gaming computer. No subscription though, everything is included for life 🙌
