Don't waste your money. First the back paddles will be broken and then you will have a drift in the uncontrollable sticks. If anyone wants details, they can write to me. I have photos and proof that I have sent it for repair twice in 5 months.

Hey Enrique, that really sucks. Sorry to hear that that was your experience. I think its dope that you're trying to warn everyone but I would say that everyone's experience with every controller is VERY VERY different. If you read my comment sections you will see all types of reviews and experiences about all types of controllers. So I would definitely say that you shouldn't let your experience be the absolute determining factor for if a controller is bad because you may have honestly just gotten a bad controller and I'm sorry about that but that doesn't mean everyone will. Perfect example is me, I still use my Scuf Instinct Pro religiously and I absolutely love it. No complaints here so maybe I was lucky but you can never really know. Either way I definitely understand where you're coming from and what you're doing, I have no problem with it. I guess this is just my two cents lol. Your experience sounds like my experience with the elite series 2 lol horrible quality stick drift, malfunctioning rb button, and sticking triggers had it replaced twice under warranty and it just went bad again so at this point I’m in the market for anything that’s not an elite series 2 cuz I’ll never buy one again

It's a great controller until the bottom paddles break from the frame of the controller.. loved everything about it until that happened,3 months into it .

Sorry to hear about that Michael, Scuf reliability is very hit or miss which is unfortunate and disrespectful to their consumers but i do still like a lot of their controllers for the features and customization. Wow Brzozx, thats crazy! Sorry to hear that. But great question, and its funny you ask cause I'm currently working on a top 5 controllers for xbox video. But to answer your question so far the best controller I've ever tested for xbox (which is what I'm assuming you're asking for) would actually be the scuf instinct pro. I don't know if pricing matters for you but the scuf instinct pro would be the best in my opinion as of right now hands down. After that it would be the elite series 2 despite the issues that you and many others have brought up. I just genuinely like that controller, it has so many features and I've been lucky to not have any issues lol. After that it would be a 3 way tie between the razer wolverine chroma, the power a fusion pro 2 and funny enough the power a spectra infinity. The elite series 2 and scuf instinct controllers, WHEN WORKING, are easily the top 2 controllers for xbox. But after those 2 it really comes down to preference, price and what you like. Truthfully, and you might get a laugh out of this. In my personal list, I have the power a spectra infinity coming in it at 3rd. Its a 30 dollar controller with great back buttons and good trigger stops. It may not be the most premium or super competitive controller out there but I think for 30 bucks its definitely worth a shot and in the right hands I can see someone being a beast with it. I have mine coming in should be here in about 3 days. Expensive but what has sold me and I really hope it doesn’t back fire on me was the ability to have mouse like triggers. I play competitive FPS and I put in tons of hours in so hopefully they hold up. I’m curious that after the 6 month warranty if you have a issue what do you do? Send it all the way back and then pay for them to fix it and pay shipping and handling like that’s crazy.

Hey Fikk, those are very valid concerns. Unfortunately it does seem like that would be the case after the 6 month mark which is not fair and not cool on scuf’s part. They really need to take care of their customers better but i can definitely say that the mouse triggers are awesome and have held up for me and if they hold up for you I’m sure you’ll love them as much as i do! Use rechargeable batterys or a wireless pack and great. Ps4 controller don't last long and when battery goes its gone. Love my scuf instict pro but nowmi own one I prefer the elite 2 because triggers on the scuff are slightly too close to controller and not finger and formme i cant change the triggers to my customisation spot. I love it but with ID boughtna second elite 2. I have small hands and with the elite 2 body was small like scuff. But elite 2 is still my fav guted icant map top trigers to bottom and bottom to the buttons, its the reason i bought it. wish id seen this review. i hate 4 triger placements on modern joypads and as such ith small hands i make top two into settings or not use buttons the bottom trigers my top trigers and bottom under custom ones are my bottom trigger. i wouldnt play fps games with a joypad.

By the way : SCUF customized a "normal" xbox controller... not a Elite 2 controller. Not exactly the same quality... just saying...

With scuf that will never make the grip perfect on their controllers they will make it appear grippy but they still need to sell you their prized gamer grip. You see we eat with our eyes so when we see it we buy it thinking GRIPPY but then that material gets SLIPPY then our brain thinks gamer grip. They will always give With one hand while demand With the other.

Wooooooow, that is an incredible observation, I didn't notice that at all. At first I thought you were being a little hard on them but that is an undebatable point. Scuf is very wrong for that and whats funny is that they're business practice is only hurting them because if they just made the best controller out possible, they would be the undisputed pro controller provider and their sales would 10x but since they want to half*** us they're actually screwing themselves over.
