Im only on my 5th year of growing a container garden so certainly all of you seasoned in ground growers know Im only a beginner but if its okay to advertise a little I have already learned that Survival Seeds and Migardener Seeds germinate well and grow healthy plants/food. My hubby and I are retired so need to have the least expensive and highest quality. Both companies have sent me 100% germination seeds. I know that won't always happen but so far...Happy Customer!

I no longer garden due to health issues, but when I did, I always used heirloom seeds and saved seeds for the next planting. I grew kale numerous times, but the bunnies mowed it down every single time, so we ate the bunnies! My Basset Hounds hunted and killed the bunnies, then took them to my husband to clean. He, or I would cook them and we all enjoyed eating them.

I really hope I can find someone to plow and disk plots for gardening this year. It is going to be expensive, but even harder to find someone to open up the areas for me. I have farms around me, but so many have such big tractors that will not "fit" through to the back areas I want to dig up. Go no till! Cover the land now with cardboard that you want to plant in the spring.
