I live in Eastern Canada where mussel growing is a multi-million dollar industry. He had a great idea but not a clue how to execute it and what components to concentrate on. The farms here have been going for almost 40 years now and are extremely successful. You can even harvest mussels in the winter by drilling holes in the ice.

However Farming the Seas, Given the Seas are Larger than the Lands is a Reasonable Food Producing Activity. The Lands of the World are More Stressed than the Seas. Hence Patrick Should Give the Mussel Farming a Go with Gaurantees and Monitoring of Local Marine Life. Factually if you go Back 1000, 2000, 5000 Years that Bay would have been Teaming with Marine Life. Hence Again, Done Right the Capability of the Bay will be High and Done Well 1000 Tonnes is Possible.
