For me this is one of the best looking cars german car manufactoreres produced ever! I usually do not like BMW cars of tzhe lsst 3 - 4 decades (except the Z8) But this one in my opinion is a no- brainer. This is more italian car design then any Ferrari or Lamborghini has ever been. Excellent, doesn´t matter if closed or as a roadster. Just beautiful!

sucksqueezebangblow i believe the car you are looking for is the new 8 series. 840i will be the l6, m850i will be a v8 and m8 will be a 650bhp v8 (i think same displacement, 4.4l just turbocharged). they will all be faster than i8. In fact i8 should have been all electric imho with this price, and this car should have been called 830e or something, its a mess...

Completely agree with your comments Shmee - great car with great technology but they should have done more - more power, sharpened the handling, added some new features. Crazy you can’t even get adaptive cruise control on it etc

BMW is known for its incredibly high depreciation in the UK. The i8 Roadster is going to depreciate anyway within 3-4 years from now from £124,000 to £54,000 (almost the same price for an entry-level 7 Series or top spec 5 Series with M Performance package).
