I am hearing people who buy new houses saying they regret it for poor building. And, being in a problem neighborhood can be a real headache and even dangerous. Lipstick on a Pig Lol, that's a. Good One🤗 Lol. Thanks again for Sharing King Andrew 👑♥️

I live in an “affordable” neighborhood like this. My big thing is I just want safety. We’ve had some scary situations & I get tired of it. I don’t understand why people gotta be violent because they’re poor. I’m not saying poor people are violent, I’m saying there’s a correlation between poor neighborhoods & violent crime rates. & experience backs up the math. We’re making the most money we’ve ever made & there’s no way we can afford 2k a month in rent. & with this sellers market I don’t want to get locked into an underwater mortgage.

Crime, property crime especially, is the result of economics. It always has been and always will be. Me being a boomer, I remember that even "in the Black side of town" in Dayton Ohio where I grew up "wasn't riddled with crime in the 1960's like it is now. As children we played outside in the summer months from dawn to dusk. I was never afraid. In the 1950's through mid 1970's manufacturing was booming in America . On the Black side of Town aka 'the hood' many families were still intact with the father as head of household. Many were homeowners because the father had the opportunity to Work in the booming manufacturing industries. Around the late 1970's automation and outsourcing began to slowly creep on the factory floor and slowly but surely the neighborhood changed. And I hate to say this and IMHO the landscape is going to get much worse because of Artificial Intelligence which is going to effect both blue collar AND white collar professions. I think Andrew makes an excellent point, if you can find a bit of land or small home in a small town within driving distance of your job I think that would be a very smart move.

Again if you're a poor person it's a start make your goal for a one or two-year stay and after that by your house even buy a house there it's yours make it nice it will be a good rental when you move up to the next one we all got to start somewhere stay to yourself the mistakes young people make is getting one of those expensive places in the best neighborhood that leaves no room for saving and the old people used to tell me no matter where you live you live in your house you don't live out there in your street say to yourself until you can do better and move to someplace better but by your next place

I get what you're saying but it's a shame that you have to live in an area like this for affordable housing. PS there are better places than this to buy a home in Indiana.
