From the look of it, we're seeing only one section that the camera focuses on. It looks like the enclosure actually goes off further to the right of the frame, but this might be the main "viewing area" that the animals are more inclined to go to. Some zoos and animal parks have an area that's designed to let the patrons see the animals more clearly, but the animals themselves have free reign to move into and out of that part of the enclosure as they feel inclined. The animal park I work at has areas like that, where sometimes you might look and go "so where the heck is this lion that's supposed to be here?", but they've gone into another area and are out of sight from that viewing area.
@validark11 ай бұрын
A lot of animals in captivity dont need excessive square footage like their wild living counterparts because all their needs are being met But also for wild cats its more important to have vertical space over land space (these snow leopards have a lot of vertical space which is good!)

@Mokiefraggle11 ай бұрын
@@2009carol2010 Those sorts of places are typically not accredited by the AZA nor properly being monitored by the USDA as they are supposed to be. If they were a properly maintained zoological park, they'd have to at least pass muster per the USDA on no less than yearly basis, and those tests are pretty hardcore. Like, the inspector that was frequently sent to the animal park I work at would routinely _scale the fence at the tiger exhibit,_ both to ensure it was the correct height, but also to make sure that it wasn't in a condition that would make it possible for a tiger to scale it (nothing big enough for a paw to fit into, etc.). They will look for any reason to give you a black mark, and don't take excuses. Kinda like a health inspector with a restaurant; nothing is left to chance.

The jumpscare with the sudden music in the middle, then the eerie silence after it abruptly cuts off towards the end is one of the combos of all time.

It's so funny and happy to see them just bounce suddenly with no reason, just feel like it? Kinda wish I could feel like that and do it too (well maybe I could... for once. then I have to call 911! 🤣)

They are so beautiful! And at least they can get up a little head of steam, but that seems to be an awfully small enclosure!

They seem to make good use of their space and it's nice they have places to run & jump. So cute - they have two beds but both sleep in one. 😻

It must be such a relief for them to not have to struggle to survive and hunt in the severe conditions where they normally live.

where would you prefer to live? Out in freedom where you have to work to live or in prison, in a cell while being fed?

@@HokuninAnd a bunch of stuff to climb and play on, a warm bed, all the food they need? Yea im choosing this park.

@Hokunin in a warm place that I call home and i know is a safe spot, with plenty of food and entertainment and with the ones I love? Or outside, having to work my ass off, with things that could kill me to drive me away from my territory and having to put all myself into hunting and hoping to score a kill so that i dindt waste alle my energy just to eat? Tough choice
@stephaniefogelvik4756 Жыл бұрын
@@alessialaudante6825Well, you're not an animal. Animals prefer to be free, and in their natural habitat.
@alessialaudante6825 Жыл бұрын
@stephaniefogelvik4756 animals have no concept of "be free." Animals control large territories and have to travel many miles a day to PATROL them, not because they enjoy the jogging routine. The large territory is needed to secure access to water sources, food, and a safe den to grow your cubs without having to worry about rivals and predators slaughtering them while you're off hunting. It's not like convenient modern-day human housing where you have clean water at the tap of your fingers and a full fridge right next to it. Likewise, a good "habitat" for a human is not a good habitat for a non-human animal. Like a habitat made for a lion is not fit for a crocodile. Do not humanise animals.

cute "little" things. it always amazes me how animals don't get hurt when running and jumping on hard surfaces, like rocks.

Seems to be a fairy small enclosure for such large animals.
