Another great video! I'm actually on my way out to my local pond for another session and “real” videos like this make me feel like a “normal” human angler again - blanks and all👍👍👍 Thanks for reminding us that even experienced anglers like yourself have off days! - Joe

Enjoyed today's video, Tom. I know that lake having visited the area often and it contains many interesting areas to fish. Sadly, I didn't fish it when I had the opportunity. You've got a good net man there and future piscatorial pursuer of Cyprinus carpio, huh? Thanks for sharing. Love that country.

I love that area too. My net man is not really into fishing, but he plays along when I ask him to, which is nice. Glad you enjoyed the video, thanks Kenny!

You're getting Carp cuddles! Hahaha! Like a cat rubbing against your leg, after giving it a meal. Thanks again for all the work.

I would say you had a good day, between the carp, catfish, snags, and fish stick you were kept busy. Better to be busy than bore. Your net man might not be into fishing but he was always there when you needed him, that is what counts. One question how does a carp fishermen for the Midwest find a carp lake in S.D.?? Thanks for the good video.

Yep, a pretty good day indeed. We vacation in this area every summer, mostly for hiking adventures, but I like to go pull a few carp out of that lake if I get the chance. Thanks David!

You may want to consider adding a drone to your carp fishing repertoire. They’re good for spotting not only snags and such but fish. Just a thought. Thanks for the content.

Good idea, maybe I'll try that someday. Thanks Bret.

Well at least you had fish sticks for supper. We have 25-30 mph winds blowing from the west which means both lakes by me I can't shore fish. So I'm letting my corn soak up some flavoring and glow in the dark paint dry in my rod tips

Just what the doctor ordered tom! I needed to see something put on the bank . I think the witch doctor put some bad ju ju on my rods.

Braid might be superior in some cases especially if you run strong braid. Mono can get tiny cuts and will eventually break off faster then braid.

Hi I am from India and frequently enjoying your videos. In India we are fishing some other kind of carps ( Rohu, Katla, Mrigal etc). Here I am using some artificial floating popup. Can you suggest me about some floating boilies for Indian carps . Thanks

What size sinker stops do you use or does it make no difference? Also does the bead have to be black-will any type of bead be ok?
@OutsidewithTom4 ай бұрын
Sinker stop size depends on what size line you use. Bead color doesn't matter.

Another fishing adventure story! Thanks Tom for sharing with us and showing the fun that we Bankers enjoy. Including how we work around lost gear and pulling in forests, with another set-up!!! Like @pastmasters9591, been HOT my way, trying to fish when it's only going to be in the low 100's. . Always enjoy the info and fun!!
