City fan myself in a similar situation to Buvey, Parents grew up in Bury, Dad’s a red, moms a blue along with the rest of that side of the family being either City or Bury but my folks relocated to Essex, everyone growing up was either a West Ham, Arsenal, United, Spurs or Chelsea fan in the 90s/2000s where I lived. At 9 in 2000 I made the decision to be a City fan for 3 reasons, mums family tys to City, i liked blue 😂, and because of the movie Theres Only One Jimmy Grimble. Thoughs reasons along with back then in the 2000s City was kind of a place top players on their way out would play (David Seaman, Schmeichel, Fowler) and tickets were cheaper back then to see games. 2008 comes around and I lucked into it 😂 🍻

13:07 I was downstairs watching the City/QPR game with my Step Dad, my brother and his girlfriend and that game and the Liverpool come back v AC Milan when Liverpool were 0 - 3 down at halftime will always be the two games of football I will probably never forget. I will say this though that after Gerrard got that first goal for Liverpool on the night I was RIGHT BEHIND them even though I don't support Liverpool. And then obviously Vladimír Šmicer gets the 2nd two minutes later and at that point for some reason I just truly believed they would go on to win it by hook or by crook which they did. But on the flip side even though I WANTED Manchester City to beat QPR on the day to win the Premier League in 2012 I thought the opportunity to do so had passed them by even with 10 minutes of the 90 to go because they were actually rather wasteful with every chance they got until injury time from being 1 - 2 down. And yes Edin Dzeko equalized the match on 92 minutes but even then for the life of me I just couldn't see City getting another one. If you go back and actually watch Agueros goal that won it in the 94th minute Mario Balotelli did well to even get the ball to Aguero considering he was falling over when he made the pass. Not only that a QPR defender comes out to tackle Aguero and he drops a shoulder then goes the other way (Me being me I thought yea but that player will tackle him here and that will be it they've fucked it) and then he's one on one with Paddy Kenny and I said to everyone in the room "Ok but he'll either sky it, the keeper will save it or .." and at that moment he scored the winner and I carried on "Ok but still the ref could blow his whistle and for whatever reason it could still be disallowed .." and then when it was pretty clear that Aguero had won it I went fucking MENTAL!!!
