K-pop fans are trying to turn you into a multi fan whether you want to or not. 😂 I think it’s sad that boracity can’t mention other groups without the fans going wild in her comment section. I’ve listened to other groups and watch their content and while I enjoy them and some of their songs that doesn’t mean I’m going to be a multi stan. It’s ok to like other groups or become a fan if that’s the case but to be butt hurt over someone else’s opinions is just dumb and annoying. The only time I get irritated is when people say they like BTS and is or was a fan than turn around and say they are overrated or over hyped. Like what?! Than you were never a fan. I honestly think K-pop fans are jealous of the recognition and success BTS has and are upset they can’t do the same for their favs so they just resort to the “they are overrated” comment. Like whichever group(s) you like without putting down another because everyone’s taste in music is different.

@Kalakeiko Жыл бұрын
@@blossom6693 I do get her point and I don't agree with most of the industry and the way the artists are being treated and I agree with some of her arguments and videos. My issue with some of her videos are mostly that she doesn't balance her criticism. For example, saying that Kpop groups don't write, compose and produce their own music when several of them do, that Kpop groups have no artistic and unique style and identity and just switch from concept to concept when that isn't true or that Kpop fans don't care about music and only care about visuals and trends when that isn't the case. Those criticisms do apply to some fans and groups and I won't deny that, but certainly not all of them and a lot of people that watch her videos have the impression that all Kpop groups are the way she describes them to be, which is a shame. That is my point. I am very much aware of how the Kpop industry is, but it isn't all black and white either, like some people claim it is.

The thing is people aren't taught critical thinking anymore. Shocked to see how music is subdivided these days. I wish there’s a time when music is just music and people weren’t overthinking things. People love creating labels nowadays and if you step out of the line or you change your mind or if you dabble a bit outside the circle, you’ll sure to get a lot of hate. Worse case is your own people will disown you. Not just with music but with aesthetics, etc. All the dystopian novels I read when I was a kid are slowly about to come true if we’re going at this speed 😅 I’m ARMY but when I say I don’t like one song of BTS, I get hate from ARMY itself. It’s very traumatic. I understand why people walk around eggshells when it comes to BTS. I’m ARMY by definition but I’m scared of ARMY. So I just create my own fandom and thrive there. I know some people who don’t call themselves ARMY yet they are the most loyal fans when it comes to BTS. I used to not understand it. I keep thinking, “If you’re a fan, then you’re Army.” But now I get it. ARMY (generally speaking) is like AI gone wrong. It’s taken a life of its own. 😂 I will sure to get hate comments for this. People will tell me I’m not really a fan. Proves my point.

If you're talking army twitter then yeah, they are just some things you don't do on army twitter. Army x BTS only have each other so we avoid people adding fuel to the fire that antis light up. Otherwise of course they are songs people will like more than others. We are all different. It just doesn't seem necessary going online to denounce or drag a song you don't like. Just skip it🤷. Or discuss it with in person armys if you have the privilege of army friends. Plenty of others who will like it. But I do hear your point and i hear you.💜 P.S I only spoke to try and defend army twt. I can't speak for any other situation you might have encountered like that. So it's best that I say I'm a Bangtan Lover. It's not all Armys (i met awesome Armys who have been supportive an fun) but most have shown to be too problematic. I understand the passion those Armys have. The thing is where it goes wrong is when you try to mold others, trying to mold the members, trying to be right an much more foolishness an it is too tiring. Arguments an conflicts for no reason. Its just...ugh. Im too old for it even though im not done being in my 20s. It's too much an I'm done officially today calling myself an Army. I didn't have the guts in 2020 to do it because I should have done it then but idc I'm doing it now. Its for the best. BTS might even be tired of it at times an it shows. They are adults now an the fact that they struggle in their own Fandom is too painful for me to see. Im glad they still love Army through it all, this being the reason I adore them. Even in that, I'm glad they are apart an having a break from all of this including Army because it was needed. Nothing is guaranteed anyway. I admittedly do think you may still be seeing some bad intentions where there are none, so here’s some additional context to clear things up- at the time of this videos release, only the first four New Jeans songs had been released. So the only members with credits at the time were Hanni for Hype Boy and Danielle for Attention. While we don’t know specifically what Danielle wrote for Attention, Hanni specifically has mentioned that the only line she wrote that made it into Hybe Boy “got me chasing a daydream.” So no, that’s not an incorrect statement of fact- and what she was actually saying was that Hanni should be given the full credit for doing that rather than Min Heejin trying to make the whole New Jeans project about herself. The girls are writing for their music and are writing more as time goes on, but at the time of this videos release this was a very fair assessment of the situation.
