@chriswilson72116 ай бұрын
They're wanting you to talk like a woman so that they can lie and manipulate like they would do with another woman. They don't want to share information, they want to share feelings so that they can muddy them. That's how women "feel better". They throw a blanket over shit. Let's say our thoughts and feelings are like pudding. She is talking vanilla, you're talking chocolate. She says your pudding is too dark, tastes funny, and is stupid. She wants to throw a dollop of HER bullshit in there and stir it up, and while it isn't perfect, she can at LEAST tell herself that it isn't chocolate. Now, eventually, she stirs enough nonsense together that it's all vomit anyway. This is where they lock themselves in the bathroom and blame the whole world for cursing her and ONLY her for having a bowl of stirred up liquid shit, and why does HER life suck!?... Despite the fact that she is the one unhappy with EVERYTHING and causing her own issues.
@jessemilne57894 ай бұрын
So I'm 39 years old and have been married, divorced and have had and in long serious relationships. This is dead on. I don't often bring up anything that's bothering me or share how I'm feeling. From my experience unless I'm feeling happy and in a good mood they don't really seem to want to hear about it. Or I share then months later during a fight or something it's shot back at me for the sole purpose of hurting me. Unfortunately that has been a majority of my experience since I was like 15 or 16. I recently lost my mother and an aunt who was like a second mother and the only spot I felt safe enough to cry was locked in the bathroom alone. Not because my girlfriend now has ever done anything to make me feel this way but because of my experiences up to this point. I watch your videos and am so shocked to hear a woman say things you say because it's always seemed so simple to me. I only want a couple things out of a relationship. The first is wanting to be wanted and respected. And for that I will give everything I have and am able to give to her. It is refreshing to hear a woman say this and share it with other women. As simple as it seems to myself and probably so many other men it seem like too many women take this information it gets filtered through their thought process and comes out way different and over complicated for most of us to get. When for the most part all I want and probably a lot of men want is to feel wanted, receive physical affection and once in a while hear that you're appreciated. Back to talking about feelings for a second. How sad is it to hear yourself say to the woman who you love more than anything and would happily lay your life down for that " I just want you to want me." I apologize if the comment is a bit hard to follow. I was dictating the comment while driving. Thank you for your videos.

While mentioning things that came up I just noted that I was glad that I did not have to do the prostate exam this year. I am middle aged. This minor, throwaway sentence ended up setting her off. I got a whole grilling about whether I knew what happens in the gynecology exams and how she’s had to endure those since she was 13. And I got a lot of sneering about men and how we are so squeamish compared to what women endure. Yeah. That’s the last time I tell her anything about my medical issues unless there is an urgent need to know! I am sympathetic about things that my wife faces as a woman. I had a friend/girlfriend (we were only together for 4 days so I really don’t know what to call that interaction with her) who would do this exact thing. She would say things that might’ve seemed polite on the surface, but deep down was extremely manipulative. I finally had enough after we broke up, and even though we’re still at the same college, I severed all ties with her. She clearly didn’t take it well and is upset that I didn’t come back to her like I used to, but I finally had enough of her taking advantage of my empathy and kindness. Whenever she sees me, she keeps giving me these hateful glances, but I try my best to ignore them, as I know that giving her any kind of attention will convince her to continue to try to approach me.

I love my wife, and she is one of the most empathetic people I've ever known. She makes an effort to show her love for me and she is good at taking care of me and our kids. She cares so much about our children and how they feel, and it makes her a better parent, and makes me a better parent where I fall short in understanding where the kids are at, emotionally...buuut...I don't have big emotional swings, but I do have moments (usually in grieving or stressful periods) where I am trying to deal with my own intense emotions and she completely turns off her empathy and seems to exacerbate the problem, instead of helping me through. To the point where I will always resent her reaction and regret revealing my emotions. I have only ever had a few of these instances, but I really needed her support and I was rejected, with force. I don't think I'll ever feel comfortable with my negative emotions around her because of this... But I am always the cool cuke with her emotional insecurities and break downs and hangry moments. I'll just keep my bottle handy for stuffing my emotions down until I can talk to a friend about it.

Emily - A bigger point is that the woman doesn't know how to keep that private conversation PRIVATE. It immediately becomes a subject for conversation, discussion and analysis with her friends, which is an immense violation of trust and confidentiality to a man. Any talk, discussion and analysis should only be between him and her - they are the married/involved people. Women have to understand exactly what the hell "private" means and start learning to accomodate privacy for others if they want a successful relationship.
