I mean just today I spawned on the bridge in Fringe Folk Hero Grave the one where there are 2 Grafted Scions. Host was on the other side with 2 password summons and they rushed me. I quickly hard swapped and used Starscourge to pull them off and they fell to their deaths. Had I taken longer and boosted my INT the 3 might have cornered me and I would have been screwed. Which is why on a strength build you should have enough INT at the ready. Important spells or weapon skills must always be easy to access.

Watch out, slap some seething chaos mines, or my favorite, small oracular bubbles, and instead of worrying about backstabs, you can get a combo into the 2nd part of the ash

You should have the INT requirement without needing grafted. There are many situations where you need immediate use of the pull and cannot afford to wait to use Oath of Vengence or swap the Stargazer Heirloom.
