Tropius HP: 99 -> 109 ATK: 68 -> 63 DEF: 83 -> 88 SP.A: 72 -> 97 SP.D: 87 -> 92 SPD: 51 BST: 460 -> 500 I know Tropius is annoying af in RanBats, but in any meta where people commonly run Ice, Fire, Rock, Flying coverage at all (so any meta where you can build your team), Tropius is dogwater. There is no reason for it to have 460 bst anymore when a 1 stager like Cyclizar has 501 bst. Better bulk + leaning more towards special attacking instead of being split between both means a much more defined role and thus better performance. Not OU material by far, but it could see some usage in tiers like NU or even RU. Which is good enough for me by this point. And as a bonus, here're some Paradox ideas if Game Freak is looking at some random KZbin comments for some reason: _Shaking Earth_ Tropius's ancestor, which has little to no plant parts. It still takes energy from the sun via Protosynthesis, which eventually leads to a symbiotic relationship with plants that later on results in its descendants being able to fly with leaf propellers thousands of years layer. Dragon _or_ Dragon/Ground HP: 152 ATK: 122 DEF: 125 SP.A: 40 SP.D: 110 SPD: 21 It would have moves like Dragon Hammer, Curse, Bulk Up, Growth, Body Press, Heavy Slam, and of course Earthquake at its disposal. Reliable recovery would make it an absolute monster, but knowing Game Freak, they can't give a big defensive mon something like that. _Iron Rotors_ Tropius's robotic future counterpart, possessing leaf propellers made into a helicoptor rotor. It's legs are still present, but are tucked horizontally along its body most of the time, and its neck is lowered while in flight to avoid being hit by its rotors. It's "banana" bundle are fully metalic, and are actually bombs it can drop on its enemies. Grass/Flying HP: 85 ATK: 42 DEF: 88 SP.A: 119 SP.D: 95 SPD: 141 Possessing moves like Energy Ball, Hurricane, and Dragon Pulse like its predecessor, while also picking up new moves like Flash Cannon, Flamethrower, and Thunderbolt to match its new mech-based design, it is the end result of Tropius's evolution from a bulky physical tank to a fast special sweeper. It loses Chlorophyll since it has to have Quark Drive, but it retains moves like Solar Beam and Growth that can be used alongside its new base 141 Speed to still be a threat in the sun.
