I usually use LV with Maulcron (Gar and his dude, ImpGuard) against those Elsbethcron Great Mothers. 65 Banners. Worked very good against them.

I'm not sure if I agree that Hondo is worth turning off the droid from Aphra's special, and he won't even get benefits from most of her abilities

I think it’s mainly for the announce as you have to target so many people in the Aphra battle, for example you want to gun out Aphra so the droids don’t go to town but with hando cron if you don’t gun down hando he may solo many of the regular Aphra counters either forcing you to do a bad move in the match up or sending something greater against aphra
