Welll, made this tonight for dinner. Had everything except beef broth. it takes alot to impress my hubby thumbs up on this one!! Printed it out to keep. Even thou my noodles were done 4 minutes ahead of time i drained anywasy & keep the lid on. You guys really have to try this one. Where I am In Mississauga Ontrario Canada the No Nme broth was $1.79 and the tube of ground beef (didn't have any left in the freezer was $5.00 but had everything ellse. I just love this guy.

This is one of my staples from Mom. I call it hamburger stroganoff but other family members have called it poor man's stroganoff. Using fresh mushrooms instead of canned as the old recipe called for really elevates it!

Oh, a suggestion for people who can't stand; or can't stomach sour cream. You can substitute it with cream cheese for a similar effect, just without the sour taste.

Ok lemme start with I love this show ever since it started, I've learned so much from Frankie and it's truly ideal if you have to live on a budget. That said, maybe someone on the team could work on the recent thumbnails, they look stiff and "old", and they don't represent the playfulness of the show at all - if I didn't know and love this show from the start, I wouldn't click on it, and that's just a shame and easily preventable!

I love your videos, you teach my lifestyle. I’m about to graduate from IU this may and am an app developer. If you have any ideas I really want my work to be something I enjoy and I love cooking and am hoping to combine the two. If you have any ideas or would be down to get in some form of contact that would change my world. I am try to work on an idea of a app that has your pantry and can think of dishes and helps you cook cheaper by using what you already have
@tinad85613 жыл бұрын
Could it barcode scan your pantry items? I realize there’s likely database access issues there, but one of the things that’s a complete pain in the tuchis with calorie-logging programs is when you have to go and type things in/search them (and that’s just managing stuff you eat in a day, not the contents of your pandemic pantry...)

Oooo, goulash. Do you do a goulash, or a hunter’s stew?
@robynzelickson61643 жыл бұрын
Is a hunter's stew different than goulash, but I don't like it spicy.
@tinad85613 жыл бұрын
@@robynzelickson6164 A goulash is Hungarian, and takes paprika specifically, but there are lots of hunter’s stews (bigos, cacciatore, beef chasseur are three I can come up with off the top of my head.) The meats/veg/spicing vary-bigos I think takes sausage & cabbage, cacciatore chicken, tomato & peppers-but there’s usually a mushroom-wine base and a “make this in the fall” kind of vibe. They’re frequently complicated recipes; I’d be interested to see how the Struggle team would strip it down.
@robynzelickson61643 жыл бұрын
