This Just Got Way Worse..

The Blackhawks announced earlier today that they will be placing Connor Bedard on the IR with a fractured Jaw after he took a big hit from Brendan Smith in last night's game against the Devils.

Gotta love that Bedard didn’t lay on the ice and whine and try to draw a penalty call. I like him even more now.

Smith hit was clean. But I wonder what impact #91’s stick had as a can opener between Bedard’s legs. It’s pretty hard, almost impossible, to change direction when you blow by a player whose stick impedes your leg movement. Bedard’s left leg was behind the stick, the right leg in front. I think he was forced slightly left of straight forward, right into Smith. Don’t look at the hit, look at the legs and #91’s stick as he goes between the two players, and then right into Smith.

It's his shoulder and he leaned in then brought his elbow up and tossed him fuck you and your obviously failed observations. Connors head was also down. It's NOT a clean hit.

@@Rowan-mo4ko that’s about as clean as you get. It’s not local high school hockey that’s slow these are the fastest skaters and some of the biggest guys playing in the world. Can’t punish people twice the size because these teams want tiny playmakers.
