it shouldnt have been a mobile game in the first place, square enix is honestly to blame for this. It's about money at the end of the day. I do agree that the next big game after KH4 should be a union X remake, If 4 is treated like new story arc that can treat the Union X remake as a origin story that puts everything together from KH4.

I got into KH thanks to UX! The mystery behind Strelitzia's murder, the gacha dress up, and even wilder... the artstyle. I've seen my fair share of chibis, but UX really stood out for that I had no choice but to join KH. And it's been a wild ride since for the last 6 years as a KH fan. I would be beyond happy if we got a UX remake with rendered cutscenes, classic gameplay, and lots more! I guess all we can do is sit and wait... like we've always been.

I feel like I’m in the minority that feels we don’t really need remakes for all of the KH games. Absolutely we need a remake of Union Cross of some sort. Preferably similar to previous side games like DDD or CoM. But honestly I don’t think there needs to be time spent going back to these side games and fully remaking them unless it’s similar to Crisis Core’s remake. I’d rather see the teams focus on the next titles instead of going back and working on old ones. Even KH1 and KH2 I don’t think really need it right now. They’re both incredible games and there wouldn’t be much they could do to warrant a full remake. If they were games that were still stuck on the PS2 and haven’t been ported up to every console already then I would say yes we need a remake but the games are still fresh to me and don’t feel like 20+ year old games.

They really need to do this one, the name even writes itself. “KHRe:Union X”, it's perfect! This game is too important lore-wise for it to be dead on mobile phones. I honestly think that it should be remade as an actual full fledged turn based RPG, maybe something like Octopath Traveler so that they can keep the artstyle, although I wouldn't be opposed to action gameplay either. They could always skip most of the Disney worlds that appear since they don't have any plot relevance, except for the Wreck-it Ralph one, so that it won't take so many resources to make. I really hope they do it and I honestly don't think it's impossible with how many remakes have been coming out lately, a lot of them made Square themselves, and because they have a precedent of remaking a mobile game since they did Re:Coded.

Honestly I don’t want any remakes of games from the past saga. I’d like for them to focus on KH4 and then some side games like Verum Rex (unless they can incorporate that story into 4) or a Birth By Sleep 2 to see the Wayfinder Trio going thru the world of darkness and we get to see how it affects Ventus since Vanitas is back with him. The only remake I’d like to see is once Missing Link drops and finishes, they make an amalgamation game of all of X, Dark Road, and Missing Link into one finely tuned game that would tell the story of Player. Also would give us a chance to play as dark road era Xehanort in 3D model which would be so awesome

I think days and recoded are a tad too late for a remake. There isnt a real reason for it to exist. However Days and dark road absolutely need a remake. Itd be awesome if it played like kh2 or DDD or even kh3. Perhaps itll be a pipe drean for now but Nomura seems to adore the series and he probably doesnt like that his mobile kh game was taken down. Perhaps a Union cross remake will be made after kh4 too considering how important it is for many characters.

I literally mean sora's main story Kingdom hearts 1, 2, 3 and sora side stories chain of memories and dream drop distance all of sora main story deserves the full remake HD and remastered treatment. Along with 365/2 days the re: coded and birth by sleep deserves the full remake HD treatment. Besides the entire xehornart dark seeker saga deserves the full remake remastered HD treatment all of for future Nintendo switch consoles that includes Nintendo switch 2 and future PlayStation 5 and 6 consoles. Besides the game quality is starting to get out date so giving them the full remake remastered treatment HD will fix them up.

The gameplay of the mobile games are absolute garbage mass produced BS. Could never understand why people indulge in that slop. At the very least it should have functioned like BBS or DDD. A remake is not only necessary, but a required apology for ruining such an important piece of the story’s lore on that.

Any Kingdom Hearts Remake that isn't KH1 or KH2 is a waste of time and money. Despite the many original characters, Sora is THE main character. The main draw to the series. Any remake where he isn't the main playable character is doomed to fail because casuals and people mildly interested in the series won't want to play a game where is isn't there. He bring eyes to the series. If Square Enix is going to remake any KH games it's going to be the most popular ones.
