Enjoying the videos. Grew up going to that lake in one of the houses off your bow at the 2 min mark. Sawed off a few times growing up bass fishing by musky, but never landed one. Prob highest fish on my bucket list. Hope to get it done this year.

My buddy and i were bass fishing around that same area last fri and i had a musky around that size follow my jerk bait all the way back to the boat. Wonder if its the same fish. Also lol at the jet skis finally arriving

You can work em as fast as I ever want to, provided you have a stiff enough rod (like a heavy power st croix), but they don’t really “swim” like some gliders do on a straight retrieve

Does your stockies have the ability to breed? Over here any stocked fish (brown and rainbow) are triploids which are sexless (like half of california lol) we do not stock pike as theyre abundant over here, the reason is not to mix the genetics of the native stocks of our wild brown and sea trout

@@northernirishviking7283 yes they can breed, they are fertile. It’s just that the algae is so thick in some of the man-made reservoirs that it suffocates the eggs. Musky just lay their eggs on the ground and leave so if the water is too thick with algae they won’t survive. This particular lake has pretty clean water though
