Do you use these lenses? Do you completely disagree with me? Let’s talk about it 😉

Zoom lenses take a lot of stress away at weddings. I like one camera with 16-35 and the other with 24-105. Everything is covered.

Absolutely! Love dual-wielding some nice zooms 😎 Usually have a 24-70 and a 70-200

I would agree, my 24-70 thought me I love the compressed look at higher focal lengths more. The main struggle I have with it whoever is stabilising it on a gimbal when changing focal length because it externally zooms in/out which is why I revert back to using prime lenses.

Which gimbal do you use? I have no problem balancing it on mine! I just balance it when it’s half way extended and the gimbal motors are strong enough to handle it zooming in and out! Even on my rs3 mini

@@AnthonyRodriguezz that’s actually a smart idea, I might try that actually! I’m using the Zhiyun Crane 2 which can take a heavy payload so hopefully I can get it working fine now

Great insight! I learned how much love 28mm courtesy of my zoom! Which is focal length NOBODY would by in a prime lens without having had the chance to learn that via a zoom. Great vid man!

@@AnthonyRodriguezz I got such a good deal on the lens (used, half price, from a friend) that I had to buy it, but because I always used primes since I started I wasn't really sure about if the zoom lens is gonna be that useful to me

Great points bro. As much as I am a bit of a prime snob, it can be so useful to be able to switch quickly. Plus, having focal length options is great for beginners to find their favorites.

Top video bro! I use just GM primes at moment (35 1.4 and 50 1.2) , but i'm starting to study filmmaking and i need a 24-70 to ''don't lose the moment'' and live my creativity in a wider way. Did you get to try the 24-70 GM II? i have to decide between Sigma 24-70 art and Sony.. mmmh. I would like to know your opinion

Thanks man! I normally go for the sigma counterparts but for Sony rn the v1 is so stinking cheap used

Great vid. I wish I could justify the 24-70, but already having 14-28, 50, 20-60, and 85, I feel like I got zoom covered from 14 - up to - 60. But we all know how that goes…. “ADD TO CART!”
@AnthonyRodriguezz

I would definitely replace the 50 and the 20-60 with a 24-70 imo!

@@AnthonyRodriguezzI’ll keep it in mind! Still waiting for S5IIX delivery next week. But probably not willing to take significant loss on brand new lenses. But I did put them on my Amazon wish list lol

@@AnthonyRodriguezz I would ask how much you’re selling the S5IIX for, but seeing how I just waited 41 days! 😳 and 5 chat sessions for Amazon to give me a refund on the S5II, not willing to experience that shit show again. 🤬
