1. The blood work on Zoro's slashes is quite good. I was afraid they would just skip the bloody part. 2. You can see Nami's hand has some bandages, so I'm really excited about 'that' scene now. 3. They nailed Buggy's Devil Fruit power. 4. Luffy's Gatling looked great.

So, without comparing side by side I see the live action is a different version and even then I got goosebumps. I love all these characters and seeing them live I was overwhelmed. Maybe because 15yrs of reading manga and watching anime got the best of me.

Actually the anime did do those cover stories they just never did any of the others because of poor reception. To think alot of the anime's pacing issues could've been fixed if the OG audience didn't hate the concept of animating the cover stories.

I have a theory that the fishmen attack Baratie because they're looking for Nami, and there's no Don Krieg in the live action. Meanwhile, Nami has betrayed the crew and is no longer at Baratie because she took the Mery. I think that could make sense.

The voice of Arlong... amazing, but yeah it's his size is kinda weird to see when you're used to characters so large, still, I really wanna see this now, I also wanna see how they gonna do Baratie because it seems Don Krieg is missing. If they omit his fight, it's ok but I'm gonna be a bit sad because his fight with Luffy is what actually sold me on the show, also it seems the Baratie is at port, so I don't know if Mihawk gonna be cutting a galleon.

Here I have to say that they made the scenery much more menacing with Buggy. A positive aspect since Buggy appears even more as Villian and you can literally feel the danger there. It was also present in the anime but not as special as in the trailer shown. One thing I have to give credit for :]

They changed certain things from the manga/anime for example Arlong going to Baratie, and I think that could be a great idea. I think the reason might be they wanted to use the Baratie settings more since it might needed a lot of effort. I think Buggy is on Baratie too. And with Arlong's looks I think is because how he actually looks, I don't think they could it do better.

The trailer looks great and the line at the end of the trailer is a total Luffy line and I got a lot of faith with inaki as Luffy. Also love how the DF powers are looking in the trailers, as for the fishman they look as good as you can expect in a live action format. Imo they made the right choice going more practical in the live action. Manga & anime is great for Goda abstract art style, but that style would not work in a live action format just saying. Lastly the only real flaw so far is who they cast as shanks, just base on the trailer he don't look like how shank would look. So I wonder if the show becomes a hit would they recast that role since we won't see him again until the grandline.

It shows that the crew was fighting Buggy inside a circus tent and we all know it didn't happen in the anime, but they probably made it like that because they can't do his chop-chop abilities well on a bright background or set because of the CGIs. You can also see Luffy did his Gumo gumo no gatling against Arlong in a place which is a little dark compared to the anime when they were fighting inside the arlong park. Also, from the first teaser, we've seen Luffy did his gumo gumo no pistol against Alvida at night ( I forgot if that's what happened in the anime too cuz I watched that arc couple years ago)

I think that if we don't expect to see 10-15 ft tall villains the overall experience will be improved. For example Kaido and his 3 Calamities with realistic heights would have to be like 7ft tall on average but I don't think there are many actors of that size, so the only options are CGI or some body builder like guys
