My first ever time fishing Florida was at a small inlet bridge on the East Coast, where the current would RIP. It took me 2 days to figure out that the best technique was a red/white bucktail without a long red strip. I fished it like I do the rivers, casting it so that by the time it hits bottom its out infront, then with the 3mph current just POPPING it very hard and letting it hit bottom each time. I probably hooked about 30 snook in a day and a half once I got it dialed, and then lost a GIANT that hit as the jig swept under the bridge hole. Even swam out to attempt to unwrap the line from whatever it swam around. Im forever a dirty water fast current snook advocate! I wanna say the inlet was Black Pass? Stellar land spot!
