Big fan of Trout magnets. I have used the crawdad and have filled a cooler up using them. I highly recommend them for all pan fish. Thanks for sharing!

Those baits look absolutely amazing. That’s a new bait addition I’ll surely add to my Panfish arsenal. Very cool assortment of multi-species fish. Your lake is looking prime. Big forehead at 5:40 😮. Thought for a minute you had a Musky at 7:20. So rewarding to have success like that on a beautiful and serene day with no crowds around. 💥⭐️🎣

Thoroughly enjoyed the video, very good content. The crawdads are in my box and I agree, they’re a good bait. I found myself talking to the video telling you to slow down for most of the first half. You frequently get a take when you pause your retrieve. Might be something you add to your style. You’re a good fisherman, just observations from another dedicated UL fisherman. I’m using some JDM gear, new to it, and I could never turn back from throwing tiny jigs. So much fun! I’m in FL and a super slow, drag it along the bottom retrieve is a knockout for the big 9”+ gills we have here. Looking forward to your next one.
@pistolcreek6 ай бұрын
Thank you so much! You are 100% correct that I would probably get more bites if I slowed down a bit. I tend to fish the shallows. Much of the area in this video was in 2ft of water. It can be a fine line between bumping the bottom and snagging up/losing your lure. Crappie fishing around laydowns and brush piles has made me a bit “gun shy” from waiting longer for the bait to settle. I am going to work on that, though.😉 That’s one of the best things about KZbin. I have learned and continue to learn so much about fishing from folks here who are willing to share their experience. Thank you for watching!

Have you ever tried catching a wrasse or one of those Sargeant Major fish using soft plastics? Wonder if they would bite? Thanks so much for watching and the kind words.
@TheFishingNomad6 ай бұрын
@@pistolcreek Using soft plastics in saltwater is something I've been meaning to do more of, but I haven't done it all that much. I've mainly just caught the more predatory fish on lures like jack crevalles, but never a wrasse or damselfish.
